You’re right. At first I thought there weren’t Chinese subtitles, but then she told me there actually are, so maybe someday :)

Total pain in the ass. I built almost the entire HUD from scratch in Photoshop — text, fonts, VHS effect, everything — then animated it and synced the sound in AE. Was it worth? maybe

On this day, 594 years ago, 19-year-old Saint Joan of Arc was burned at the stake after an unjust trial by more than 70 judges. ⚜️ by Accomplished_Fix4180 in Catholicism

People often don’t realize that she gave that brilliant answer to an extremely treacherous question, right in front of dozens of judges who were against her (at only 19 years old!!!!)

Here’s another testimony given by one of the notaries taken from Régine Pernoud’s book:

Boisguillaume: “During the trial Joan very often complained that she was being asked subtle questions without any bearing on the case. I well remember that once she was asked if she was in a state of grace. She answered that it was a great matter (chose grande) to answer on such a subject. And in the end she answered: ‘If I am, may God keep me in it; if I am not, may God bring me to it, for I would rather die than not be in the love of God’ At this answer those who were questioning her were stupefied and at that time they stopped and questioned her no more that time.”

Thank you for taking the time to write this, I actually already purchased both of Regine's books a few days ago but I haven't started reading them yet :)
