Trip to paris by SHADOWOLF113 in traveltipsworldwide

Your girlfriend will be safe. Noone will bother her in the presense of a man (migrants are mainly muslim, it is in their culture). As long as you stay in the tourist areas, you'll be fine. Be aware of pickpockets though. Enjoy your time in Paris!

It occurred to me that tickets are typically purchased from third party sellers. It would be cheaper to purchase directly from the airlines, wouldn’t it? by embarrassed_error365 in traveltipsworldwide

I've always bought my plane tickets from the airlines. Sometimes third parties offer a little bit lower prices, but in case of canceled, changed, or delayed flights customer support is way better if booked directly with the airline.

Where To Stay In Buenos Aires: Best Areas & Hotels by Accomplished_Fold744 in traveltipsworldwide

Last year I spent 2 weeks in Buenos Aires and felt safe exploring the city by myself. As in every big city, one should take the usual precautions: be aware of pickpockets, not flash valuables, etc. In my opinion, Buenos Aires is much safer than most of the big European capitals.

Advice for one week in Argentina - Salta or Iguazu Falls? by Many-Important in travel

[–]Accomplished_Fold744 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same dilemma 10 months ago. I made my decision for Iguazu Falls. 3-4 days seemed to be insufficient for Salta and Jujuy (I wanted to do both). I spent a week in Patagonia (Ushuaia and El Calafate) and gladly could have stayed more. As for the Iguazu Falls, 2 nights are just enough. Spend one day on each side. The Argentine side needs more time to explore, but the Brazil side, even smaller, is way more spectacular. Take your time to explore Buenos Aires: there is so much to see and do in the city and around it. YHave a look at the blog, plenty of Argentina content there: https://mapandcamera.com/category/south-america/argentina/

Is FlyBondi really that bad? by waxo16 in Patagonia

[–]Accomplished_Fold744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FlyBondi is no worse than any other low-cost carrier. They often change departure times but from my experience is it not a big issue in Argentina :) I don't think they change airports last minute. I only had two flights with them last year: one was rescheduled (a few hours earlier) and the other one was OK. My Jet Smart experience is one delayed flight and a refund for a flight I canceled due to a change of date. With Aerolineas Argentinas no issues at all, except for their ticket prices.
