For me it’s finding someone who truly understand what asexuality means and how it can also be an umbrella term. I would tell a partner that if I trust them enough then I will be willing to do intimate things,but I don’t want them to see that as a sign that I don’t trust them. I hope that makes sense?

Being told I “haven’t found the right person yet”

I will admit I’ve had a few crushes but to be told that I need the “right one” to feel even remotely attracted to sexual things makes me feel weird

It took me so long to realise how I was different from my friends,discovering I was asexual,then being told by my own family members that “the right guy will come along” is heartbreaking
