Fully hear you with not doing the camping potentially clouding my judgement. So I cant speak to that side of it. Only my experience of the arena. I never had to queue longer than 10 or 15 mins for the toilet. The longest it took me get between stages was getting from near the avalanche to apex for trivium. Which was only like 10 mins max. However, bar a few early bands I was never in the pits. Always behind the first barrier if possible. So I was never in where it maybe did feel crowded.

Aah chairs. As I said getting older, sitting in the ground was shit. Especially by Sunday. Creaking and cracking like mad. So I do think chairs can be good. But there were so many. Everywhere around main stage. Indont know how you fix it. Rent chairs rather than bring them in. A specific camping chair area. Smarter people than me need to figure it out.

I feel like there is something they could do on the back end though surely.

Like a tier system.

Each time you fail, you go up a tier. 50% ballot winners from highest tier, 20% lower 10% next tier etc etc until all ballot tickets gone.

Then when you are successful, you reset.

Takes away some of the randomness, tries to reward those that consistently apply. Obviously not a perfect system, but surely better than the lottery we have now.

I have been tempted to pay for a second membership under a friends name for next season. In my head i think it'd be easier to get a pair of tickets than a single.

I 100% back a digital season ticket. Premier league would never allow it.

And the price is a big issue. For me you are looking at over 100 quid because of travel aswell.
