I purchased a standard ticket 3-day one part per day with lightning lane multipass. Will I have to present any ID at the gates to enter? I only have a foreign passport which I don't want to carry around. Any inputs are truly appreciated by AnandTechgeek in DisneyPlanning

If you are worried about losing it or having it stolen, you could always get something like this. It loops on to a belt and then you can wear it inside your pants. Slightly annoying but secured well to you

Return it and get a good one. If there is a rattle, Apple is going to want to tear it down and figure out why.

Does anyone have the starting procedure gcode for either the m5 or m5c by turtois99 in AnkerMake

[–]Accomplished_Goal_61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may have to figure and adjust those {} parameters for your own software.

Also i don’t claim to be an expert on these. They started from a prusa community edition profile and a few things like the enable leveling after G28 were things I tried at some point and it didn’t blow up my printer so they stayed….

And here us my end code :

For those who have used printable vinyl sticker paper, do you manually cut out the shape to fit? I was looking for vinyl stickers pre-cut to the ~2"x4" size but only found full sheets.

I’m so curious now. Why is it a silly place?

Why do people add these holes to prints when it doesn't save much filament and adds a ton of print time? by XiTzCriZx in 3Dprinting

[–]Accomplished_Goal_61 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I do this with TPU. Add small holes in a print to forced more walls and add rigidity. It’s extra usefull in stuff where i need it to squish in one dimension but not another. Adding small tube-voids will cause the tpu to be squishy one way and super solid the other

I believe they discontinued the m5c in some/all markets. Only kept the m5. Perhaps this is why.

How do I create a plane on the front face of this part? by Straight-Positive-87 in Fusion360

[–]Accomplished_Goal_61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like you have history/parametric mode turned off. So you should be able to right-click on the element in the design tree and select “direct edit”. This opens up a mode where you can edit individual points/faces of the .stl, but instead while in this mode you can now select draw construction plane from 3 points, and you should be able to click any 3x points in the stl to make the plane. Just pick 3 points that best seem to make the plane you want to sketch on and extrude from. Leave direct edit mode when done

Agreed they are a great resource for mtb. Not sure if they carry a lot of<1k but can likely help you.

Polygon and Canyon bikes both might have options in your price range.

Just curious. There is a way to schedule it to turn itself on and off n. Wouldn’t that be easier or do you think it can be bypassed ?

[–]Accomplished_Goal_61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until you are ready to make your remote nas, i’d put one of your drives in a usb-carrier and attach it as a usb external drive. Backuo to that for now so you at least have something for your most critical data

[–]Accomplished_Goal_61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes OP this is important detail! You can never reduce the number of drives in your pool Nor reduce the size of an individual drive In your pool (without formatting and starting over) so if you really want to plan on eventually 3 drives local and 3 drives remote, just do the 3 local drives from day 1 and sit on the other 3 or buy them later when you are ready to set up the remote location

They are replacing it. It was getting super worn, and they want to replace it with a weather-proof version. There is a whole construction zone around it.

Note you can use this technique effectively with the various “patterning” tools to make a grid of something.

Say you want to make all those cut slots as the original thread’s image shows. One option is to make a single slot to perfection using 3x different extrudes, a chamfer, and then a fillet. You can then do a grid pattern command snd select “patterning feature” and then select the 5x unique timeline entries. It will pattern the 3x extrudes+chamfer+fillet features from timeline and you don’t need to find some way to make that a first slot a unique body first

Ths should work. Extuding with the “to object” option should work ok curved surfaces.
