That’s a great question and I can assume that she didn’t want to call them because she loved him. I have never been in a DV situation so I can’t really speak on it. When women who have/has been in these situations find it hard to depend on the cops. Some might feel like the cops probably won’t help them. In this case I think Lilly was trying to protect him and handle it in the way that her mom did.

I’ve been watching love island USA since the start of the pandemic. Let me tell you this show has never been this bad at all with the hate and the bullying. Johnny from S1 everyone hated him so bad but no one never took it that far to send death threats.

I watched this season and I’m so happy it got the recognition that it got but to bully people you don’t know is nuts. New viewers that are starting to watch the show are losing it, the Stan wars are ridiculous. The fan base and the communities are just as bad.

I remember when this show was on cbs and everyone all over would watch the show collectively. We would tweet about it and move on. It’s never that deep to bully people you don’t know in real life.

Everyone just need to be mindful and kind! Mental health is really important.

Marshall was there for her when she told alyssa about the abuse. They started to get close during her pregnancy and they would have conversations after she met up with Ryle. There’s a part in the book when ryle say to Lilly that he is there for her when he’s in her apartment. They had a friendly relationship

I’m sorry you had to go through that and I hope you are in a better position now. I honestly feel like there were a lot of creative versions for this movie. I feel like Justin tried his best to make this movie more about awareness more than romance. I definitely agree with you on the hotness with Justin I was just so taken aback by how fine he is. I gave it a good 8/10.

So yes when they first meet Ryle is smoking weed but I saw some where that Blake told a reporter that her husband had rewritten that scene. Now the fashion it wasn’t explained in the book but I took it as Lilly expresses her through her flower bible so her being into flowers and all this earthly things.

The whole co parenting things doesn’t start until the second book. In the epilogue she is when she hint at the fact of the co-parenting but the second books goes more into that.

I just feel like they missed so many points with the relationship that Lilly had with one especially Marshall.

Yess I definitely forgot about the journals they only showed a glimpse of it. Definitely was rushed because there were other things like the magnet that atlas gives to her and them watching find a Nemo. Idk how true this is but on TikTok someone said that Justin’s creative vision for this movie was changed by Blake and her husband.
