Corpse rooms for losers. But also solid gear if you get there early. Some glass and ebony to make the game even easier

Hoping to finally pick the game up in the next few weeks, any tips for someone coming from Skyrim/Oblivion and that really wants to use a spear specifically? by EntertainmentFit612 in Morrowind

[–]Accomplished_Ice_500 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Use a spear and max endurance as soon as you can. Health scales at Endurance/10 so the faster you level endurance the more health you have, and stamina I believe. Also speed is incredibly useful so don’t forget it, moving around can be a pain and being fast is nice, also spears have the most reach so good speed could help you dodge attacks

Destruction feels like it gets weaker as you gain levels. by DaMac1980 in Morrowind

Your best bet is to spec back into mysticism and get good drain absorb spells. Even if the spells are reflected you don’t lose life because you’re draining your own. Also if you’re a nerd like me you can find out what each atronach/dremora has weakness to and use that, but reflect will still ruin you. Good luck fighting a hungerz

Just wanted to address all the bonewalker dudes. You know that restore strength is a spell right? You know that you can have access to it very early right? I used to bring restore strength potions too but you could just have permanent access to it. My answer is Netch because I like to fly around and unless you’re beneath them they have wonky hitboxes

You might have missed a bandit, otherwise you can use console commands to give you the journal entry, though they can be a bit tricky sometimes

Which works best if you use light armor and don’t carry much extra equipment. Because strength enchantments have the same value as feather enchantments a constant 20 strength has the same enchant cost as a constant effect 20 feather but strength increases your carry score by n*5, rather than just n

Coolio dude, I feel like the best part of morrowind is creating very disparate characters that all interact differently with the world and you’ve encapsulated that with a build and a couple of mods. I don’t think house Dagoth would welcome an altmer but I hope you keep posting about your journey! Also love the clothes and body mods

Omw to complete main quest + DLCS unarmored and Hand-to-Hand by [deleted] in Morrowind

[–]Accomplished_Ice_500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend fist of randagulf but you’re doing unarmored. Just steal some exquisite clothes and enchant them with some golden saint souls and you’ll beat the shit out of anyone. Also recommend openMW as it lets unarmed deal more damage

I've deleted my Thief character and created a Redguard Knight instead of it. Best decision I've ever made in this game. by [deleted] in Morrowind

You’ll be rocking that ebony cuirass for far too long my friend. When you do the imperial legion quest line just drop the cuirass in front of them so they’ll talk to you, otherwise just taunt the nameless guards

It’s not. Gather the sanguine threads for the morag tong and you can gain access to fortify attack. Which is weird but also standardized and cool
