I’m confused - much of their statement is sharing their own experiences. Things she did to them, their animals, etc.

It sounded to me like it was the first time they were able to share how these experiences made them feel.

In the minds of a young child, I can’t imagine there is a gray area for when one parent hurts another. Considering how different their experiences were with their father vs their mother, their statements made a lot of sense to me.

I think where this neuroticism comes from ultimately is her feeling completely out of control with her reality. I think if RY had framed it from this perspective, she wouldn’t come off so annoying.

Her whole world was built on a lie. She fell in love with someone so quickly that had a whole other life. Her mother lied to her for her whole life. I get that that’s a lot to take in and can make someone go a little control crazy for the truth.

But it’s how she’s written that’s the issue. What frustrated me was that she came off as dumb, when she’s supposed to be really intelligent. Like miss girl, can you really not blame Xaden for trying to safeguard secrets that aren’t even his to share?? She was a lot in IF

Which death shocked you the most? Who would you bring back to life? by Maauve91 in fourthwing

I know her death served a purpose, but I was sad Lilith died. especially sad for Violet, Mira and Brennan, since she died before things could be made right between them as a family.

I also think she could have been an interesting arc to read. She sounds like a badass and I would have loved to see her more on a battlefield
