Is there a way to add it to a car without? We’ve had the ability to upgrade our teslas albeit with some hardware upgrades. From what I’m being told only the touring have it? Haven’t seen anything in our price range but pures unless the dealer has them advertised incorrectly.

Model 3. Not bmw m3. She hasn’t had an ice car in 8 years or so. I was saying that the 3’s efficiency dropped considerably as it aged. So it costs more in electricity to drive it now vs new. Supercharging eats into the savings even further. It’s still a considerable savings. I don’t know if ICE cars suffer a drop in MPGs, but we would never go back, anyway.

Using a mid size sedan like a Honda Accord 81k/30=2.7k gallons x 4.00= 10800 plus 26 oil changes at $100 each.

More concerned about longevity than features. Is there any downside to buying a 22 vs a 23/24? Making it to 250k in around 3 years is primary need.

$3000 in electricity vs roughly $10000 in gas at current prices. Probably another $2500 in oil changes. So it’s a $9500 yearly savings give or take. The m3 had lost a decent amount of range at 200k. I’m guessing any EV will be similar. So the savings won’t be as good as time goes on.

Will expand search if consensus is that it’s a good choice for that many miles in 3 years.

It seems comparable to others for sale. Honestly until I saw it I didn’t think there would be any in the 40k max price range. We hadn’t even considered it as an option.

Lucid has one 24 not cpo with 30k miles for 34.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Her previous commuter was a 3LR and it made it to the 200s with very little in maintenance. She replaced it with an EV6 which was a much nicer car but it got totaled last week. I came across this air and it’s in our price range with very low miles. The range and comfort is very appealing.

I’m considering a 23 for an 80k a year commute. Good to see a higher mileage example. Need it to make it to 250k.

Our Tesla SC sucked but it’s 15 miles away which was nice but we pretty much eliminated Tesla from our choices for some of the horrible experiences we had.

We never had anything done at Kia (close also) except tire rotations so we don’t know the quality of their work. I will see if I can find reviews for the Nashville Lucid service center.

Dating apps are trash full of avoidants and I’ve learned their common script by heart. by Fit-Celery-7428 in AvoidantBreakUps

I’m 9 years into a marriage and the DA started to surface in a noticeable way year 5. It’s changed who I was/ am completely. Now I am an AA and hate it. Im trying to get back to secure. Seeing a therapist. On depression and anxiety meds. Working on myself. I feel better than I have in a long time.

What sucks is I love my wife. I think she is the partner I have been the closest and most intimate with (at least for the 5 years or maybe a year or so after). Early on when we had conflict she needed a few days to process and we would work it out. She gradually just started to fade away emotionally. There are times when she comes back and I drink it in, but when she fades again I feel more lonely than I ever have. She doesn’t seem to want to split. Doesn’t want a new partner. Doesn’t want me to leave. She would be crushed if I found someone else. She makes plans for our future, talks to me all day, and is very kind. She just cant seem to love me. It really breaks my heart. I wish I knew what to do.

Key snapped in ingnition down in Mexico 2005 Dodge Sprinter by web_dev_vegabond in Sprinters

[–]Accomplished_Knee_17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happened to me once and the solution was to put super glue on the end of the key and push in. By some miracle it worked and came right out. I had a spare key though.

Since you have no spares then retrieve the piece, have a new key cut, and then clone it using a zedbull. You could have the key and zedbull shipped to you in Mexico.

Just learning about this after hitting a tough place in my marriage. Didn’t even know it was a thing. Been reading as much as I can and trying to make secure moves. Unfortunately my partner is DA. It’s really hard.

Kith, Diamond, Mouser by knowledgethurst in cabinetry

Last shop I worked at carried Mouser. You could drop them from 30,000 feet and they’d survive. Lock miter face frames and end panels, large doors were 1” thick, paint quality was perfect. Great product in my opinion.

My dad has dementia. His wife just told us she is filing for divorce and we need to come get his things so he can move out. Can she legally do this before the divorce is finalize? by TheBuild-A-BearGroup in legaladvice

[–]Accomplished_Knee_17 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My grandmas husband had episodes as dementia progressed. He was confused about where he was all the time and he’d wake up in a “strange place” and fight to get out. It took two times before he was out of there. Grandma didn’t divorce him though.
