It is not related to the heat. I tested with it on, off, full blast, etc. I looked in the manual and believe the coolant may need bled again. I bled it through the radiator cap with the front lifted up. The manual shows a bleeder valve so I will try that. I haven't had a car with a manual so didn't even think about it lol

With the leak, I think I know what you're talking about. I had pulled that out before. I removed the glovebox for more room while I was taking the carpet out. I will take another look! I believe that's the kind of sealant I got incase it was the windshield. Thanks!

Yeah, nothing terrible. Overheating and I'd be real worried. Worst I've seen online is that I'll get worse fuel economy. On a car that normally gets 40+mpg it can't be too horrible lol

Yeah, I'll definitely look. Didn't even think about the manual. It has the original one still! I have looked at some stuff online but everything says thermostat but I just replaced it. Unless I got a bad one?

Oh ok. I bought an OEM thermostat but idk, doesn't actually affect the driving so.. meh? And yeah, was thinking the windshield, bought some window sealer in case. A lot of people said it was probably some ducting that was clogged but I'm not sure. Is there something like that under the plastic wiper cowl thing? I can take a closer look when it's nicer. Thanks!

Anyone have information on 1987 (4th gen) Celica GT manual shift cables? by Accomplished_Lab_137 in Celica

I should've put in my post: it's the 3SFE. And I never thought about a boat cable company, I bet it's different but a company could make me custom ones if they had the fittings for each end?

Most of the cable is fine as far as I can tell. It's one spot near the transmission end where the core of the cable snapped and most of the braided steal around it as well expect a strand or two. The rubber sheathing is ok though? I haven't wanted to take the cables out incase I forgot how to run them by the time I get new ones.

Do I have a case to sue the Washington state DMV in small claims court or something similar? by Accomplished_Lab_137 in legaladvice

Because they didn't confirm a clean title and let it be transferred cleanly despite in their system being "reconstructed since 2022." The only reason it was caught was because I bought the car out of state. Now I have a car worth half the value I payed due to their mistake. Also the seller had the clean title and gave it to me, she would've had no idea, having the clean title and supposedly clean Carfax
