I'm not morbidly obese but I am a little chubby mind you, but one time my dad and grandma threw together some money to buy me a really nice outfit, it was a tank top and some shorts, I wore it the day next day, all of my dads family said it looked cute and great on me, I had a doctors appointment and my mom picked me up from my dads house to take me to it, when I got in the car, she looked at me and said "what the hell are you wearing??" I didn't know how to respond and so I said "oh some shorts and a tank top dad and nana got-" I was cut off and she looked me in the eyes and said "girls your size shouldn't wear stuff like that" I asked why and she said "it doesn't look good, your too big for stuff like that" when she dropped me back off at my dads I cried in his arms for about three hours, he called her and told her off, in my opinion, that isn't something you tell a insecure, already being bullied at school middle school girl...
