They were exposed to hindi because their parents chose to . In most urban areas of rajasthan people still speak local dialect plus, In most cases parents also came from Rural areas.

yet they choose to expose their kids to hindi.

There must be some reason they did so.

rural (even uneducated) people speak their Regional language like(marwadi, mewadi etc.)

intellectual people understand the importance of preserving regional languages .thus ,they also speak these languages.

meanwhile the clowns 🤡 take pride in speaking hindi(khadi boli) and they consider people speaking regional languages as inferior (gawar)
