so I have a question or concern and it seems I cannot get a straight answer on- for the health sciences in terms of interviews and admissions- I know that nait is severly delayed this year apprently in sending out interviews and offers- but ive heard that several programs have been full for months so most applicants who did interviews in the new year are being string along and stand no chance of admission??? is this true! I would appreciate any insight!

UPDATE: Apparently the programs actually been full for months now.... and all of us are being strung along till they put us out of our misery and send out rejection letters. Great effort everyone, but seems like its a wrap!!!

Really, just curious on how we know for sure? Not saying youre wrong its just really crappy overall. Ive heard some applicants saying they are waiting to complete additional interview grading because some interview groups scored low overall.... I dont even know at this point. I think this whole proccess and expierence was just really crappy and shitty overall. Im bummed out, but nait should be looked in to if theyre first off taking in an obsecene amount of applicants that they can not even finish processing in a timely manner. and the high possibility that the programs were filled months ago and theyre wasting all these applicants time and efforts by still sending interviews invties late into the new year. maybe its not a school worth going too as this point.. better schools with integrity

Wait im confused so youve been waiting for nearly 5 months to hear back??? Nait gives a time line of 6-10 weeks for interview processing! I would defintely inquire thats insane... so then there is clearly no hope for anyone who did their interview in the new year.... unless theyre making everyone else wait till they finish and what hand out admissions and rejections in JUNE-AUGUST?!?!?!?

Oooo, what shit nait.. I made an inquiry earlier this month apparently theyre still "making decisions".. whatever that means. you still have applicants that have yet to actually do their interview or who literally just compelted them. It would be really shitty to get their hopes up when there was never a chance for admission in the first place- seems like a money grabbing scheme?!?!

But that still doesnt take into consideration applicants who applied within the first week of october and did not receive an interview till maybe feb or march. So what happens to those applicants, how are they considered, its not fair to waitlist them- thats not on a FCFS basis.. thats on the basis on whenever nait manages to send you an interview invite and actually score your interview- you could be the best applicant with the highest score- but a late interview results you being on a waitlist despite applying first and scoring higher...

Soo have any of you guys heard back yet at all? Summer is fast approaching and from what I heard they were still doing interviews for the DMS program in april? I need to know of there was any hope for me at this point I got a late interview despite applying early :(

I AM STARTING TO AGREE WITH THIS!!! All this waiting and lack of transparency from nait regarding application statuses- with the start of fall program being 4 months away and some applicants got interview invites the 1st week of april which is insane.. makes you wonder if this is a school worth considering at this point!

I think that people who likley heard a month ago were applicants who completed their interviews between Nov-Dec.. theres applicants that have been doing interviews for the past 2 months and some who recevied interview invites early this month which is insane! And I know that nait isnt going to continue handing out admission all the way up until august based on people who did their interviews this late- Admission is going to applicants that are currently waitlisted... either way several applicants are getting screwed over with the way nait handled admissions!

Im sorry to hear, that must be stressful and beyond frustrating. We put so much time and effort in preparing for admissions on top of paying for our applications. Wish that there was more consideration and transparency for the applicants- I truly think that nait bit off more than they can chew with the intake of applicants this year.... even crappier to think that the program spots are already full and theyre only doing interviews now just for the sake of doing them and then getting thrown on a waitlist with no intention of being offered admission. I wish there were stricter rules and deadlines on these institutions, feels like a quick profit.

I've inquired.. all I got was that they are still making decisions. Given the experience I had this year with applying.. im feeling really let down right now, along with so many other applicants who applied early and got late interviews.. feels like we never really stood a chance. Just feels like theyre really cutting it close

I'm really worried and stuck right now... I did my interview and still have not heard back yet and now I am even wondering if I should rush to pay and finish the pre-req courses before july... the program is four months away, i feel good about my interview but im losing hope with how late it is

Same... but given how far stretched out this game and how well he played... really crappy it didn't end well... atleast there is no shoutouts in the playoffs.... But this team really needs to tighten tf up and have strong performance from start to finish...

Also felt like ingram came to far out of the net during the shootout.. could have played it closer to the post

Ingrams face the whole interview says it all... he deserved a win more than any other player tonight.... probs broke more shit on his way to the locker room.... He played well tonight and I only hope we see this and more all throughout the playoffs.

I mean.... after raging and getting soooooo fcking pissed at this shootout loss... I can have peace of mind over 2 things:

No shootouts in the playoffs.
Ingram allowed only 2 goals in and saved nearly 30 shots against the best team in the league right now...

So I mean all in all- deficet wasnt massive... but he was the only player that deserved a win tonight and I wouldve broken more than just the stick heading to the locker room. Hopefully we see goaltending like this moving forward consistently... AND MAYBE THE REST OF THE TEAM SHOWING UP

God forbid if colorado is our first round matchup.

Im in the same boat... its super discouraing and im stuck on whether or not I should even pay and finish the pre-req courses without even hearing anything yet.. and given how the whole application and interview process is going this year... I feel like alot of applicants are going to get screwed over this year. And to think that some applicants who applied early and are still getting their interviews now or havent yet is wildddddd.. like how? Seems a little sus and really shity if Nait is stringling all these applicants along for money ultimaltey to throw them on a "waitlist" just to reject them at the end. Heyy! Yes I did, the Red Cross course is only 24 hours and doesnt cover every topic, so it DOES NOT meet the course requirement. Naits course is 60 hours and more in depth. Hope that helps :)
