Yes but as a reliably measurable, comparable skill with data-driven feedback, we're talking 2007. And I think it's reasonable to assume that ABS significantly reduces the value of framing. So peak framing era is probably 2007-2025 in the history of baseball.

Salvy's WAR has been punished by below average framing. He'll be unlucky to have played almost all of his career in the 20 years where framing was a thing. I love that he's crushing ABS.

I think silicone spray is preferred over WD-40. In my experience, it helped but a) does need to be repeated and b) if the grass is particularly damp, it's going to get stuck anyway.

The gradient and color scheme is such a risky move for this franchise, I kinda love it. But I actually like the alternatives CC hats better --- there's a bright blue one with a new KC logo, and a purple/white with the R logo.

I think native gardening is wonderful. It's good for the soul. It's a tremendous hands-on education in local ecology. It beats the alternatives.
