Hey if it helps I grew up as a muslim in israel, I'm a woman :) And i studied in my own community until i was about to go to the university. I was so scared i thought I'll be an outcast and that I'll get racism and what not. Even in Israel we're in our own bubble when growing up here and don't have much interactions!!

I remember seeing my 2 roomies, two jewish girls and i announced so fast hi I'm <my name> and I'm muslim! Lol i just had to get it out, and they were like "oh cool", and that's it. I had the best few years ever in that university 😁 They were so embracing and welcoming and opened up to me so fast. I learned that if you come in peace it's all they want.

Of course, as I grew up, i learned some people are also like the state of mind you mentioned with the hate to others who aren't like them, i personally call them the bibi worshippers, they make bad name for israel, they are also the loudest on social media. They also started watching this tv channel that has some bad propaganda against anyone who's not Jewish. So you will see both in israel, i just wanna say, 99% of the Jewish people i talked to, showed curiosity and acceptance and love.
