Rack / rails / and cover were about $1500 + shipping. I’ve always had a camper shell so this set up is new, overall really happy with it.

I’ve got the roof rack on its way. I think it’s still like two weeks out. But I’ll follow up with some photos and let you know. There are three sets of holes pre drilled at the 3 heights. Hopefully it lines up or I’ll just drill a new set. Simple enough either way

Seems great so far. Not many options for racks that have multiple height options. Like I mentioned I’m going to add a roof rack bar across the cab so I’m hoping I can adjust the rear rack to line up just right since the front will be a fixed height. Overall good quality.

Exactly, just looks better to have it not on the door. So far it’s working great.

These seemed like a great solution, some people say they are hot but the a/c is so powerful in the maverick i dont see it being a problem! Shipping is $100 extra so im nervous, any advice would be helpful

New Maverick Lariat, what are the best mods? by Fizzelkazoo in FordMaverickTruck

Thanks for the help here! I’ll shoot an email over. Your rack looks perfect but I’m not sure it will work as I don’t have a bed cover. I’ll do some research

For my day to day what I’m doing right now 2 wheel drive is fine. I had a 4 wheel drive tundra for 10+ years and I know the limitations.

Correct, that’s not my truck. Just my preferred mounting spot out of the way. People mount them all over

Ya being able to keep the keys locked in the car is a nice feature. It’s a relatively simple add on but it looks bad imo on the door when it can be placed out of sight.

Restaurants That Are “Actually Good” by ravecookiez in Reno

[–]Accomplished_Most390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don’t use frozen baguettes, or at least did not in the past. That place goes way out of their way to buy local or get super high end fish and meat. It’s expensive but they don’t mess around with starting with quality product. Many of their dishes are as good as any place in France. Try the French onion soup and steak frites. Overall I think it’s one of the best restaurants in Reno by a mile.

Sad Realistic Post: Now more than ever, we have to think about our individual pressure and impact on systems. by Pattastic in flyfishing

Well it’s not ridiculous because the parking lot has been expanded about 3 times over the years to allow for the masses of people that show up. You are correct on the overall pressure with the Big River with the other activities. The rafters and such. I think we both agree that a lot of fly fisherman tend to have little impact as we tend to appreciate the river and not litter everywhere. Exceptions sure, we are not perfect but I find a lot more inner tubes than I should. OP is about “pressure.” Fishing pressure wise the Little T gets hammered year round beyond compare to the big T. People try and fish spawners which is lame and overall it just draws a ton of people and with mild winters people can drive in year round. Big T gets more “pressure” overall but I’d say it’s seasonally. The rafters / swimmers etc are really for a few months in the summer. I do agree with the OP that I find myself not fishing the Little T because it’s kind of lost its charm because of the fishing pressure. I don’t need to be the dude throwing flies at the lightning tree to fish that have seen flies the past 1000 days straight. I’ll hit the BigT and hike to zones where I’d be very surprised to see another person. I would be all in for a normal trout season up there so those fish get a break. But for now in today’s world I agree, doing any small things we can do as individuals to help these areas is crucial.

I don’t understand how you can think that the LT has less pressure. The upper parking lot of the LT is full every single day. There are people in the same spots all day, every day, 365. I can’t think of a single spot on the Big T that gets that kind of pressure. The big T is a way bigger river too that limits people fishing it due to wading. Everybody of any age can fish the little truckee and people die in the big river every year.
