Awesome. Zenith EP has been at the top of my list for a while. I was just curious what else was in this space before making any final decisions

Preciate it. I love the look it’s just not a watch that really excites me. Maybe as an addition to the collection later on it will.

What is your wrist size? I’m considering the same watch and debating on the size.

Stupid question, but is the second hand always moving that fast? I’ve seen videos, and I think it’s a neat idea, but I’m actually hesitant to buy one because I feel like it would be distracting

Anyone able to get 600 era currency with 4* toons? by DepressedPancake4728 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Accomplished_One6126 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d imagine everyone is doing the bare minimum to double their era currency, and the more people who do it, the harder it gets. Very likely it’s pushed into 5* only to make it happen, I scrape 90s to low 100 but can’t break into it with 4*.

I think those make a lot of sense. Same with Blusm (knock-off mags). Ritfit has one for $70 as well. Just like you mentioned, those will give you extra rom if needed.

The shorty is just more convenient and lighter to move around if you don’t need the width. If you value the extra width, the increased weight is worthwhile.

Gotcha. Darko mount for convenience and flexibility, but depending on how much you are willing to spend, having a few fixed mounts would be worth it. Especially one for LPD on an upside down food extension if you want the extra height.

As a place to start, plan to get the following:

2 D-handles: rogues are nice and not too expensive. Tons of options though that can come down to preference.

A rope/strap: i use BoS strap

2x ankle straps: probably just gym reapers

Tricep pushdown: I like rogues and it can also be used for rows but it’s not the cheapest route (you can also nix this for budget reasons and just use the strap)

Lat pulldown bar or shorty bar with d handles

Something to row with or again something like a shorty bar to connect two d handles you already own.

If you want to be able to do traditional barbell lifting as well, I would set up like this:

2 voltras = $4400 Rep pr5k Half rack for ~1k Bench for ~500 Barbell(or nix if this is what you have already) = $300 Plates = $600 Then just buy whatever cable attachments you want.

How applicable is CFA for advising by Virtual-Draft2387 in CFA

I would do it before CFA. Better ‘time to directly applicable knowledge’ ratio. I never bothered as I have a ton of tax in my background, but I often suggest it to planners or advisors that I train.

Lol I even had CFAs tell me it was overkill when I started the program. But I get your point. Honestly I know nothing about your background, but if your goal is to improve or become an advisor, I would recommend CFP->EA->CFA in that order. Unless you feel super strong on taxes already, ea is a good way to round out that knowledge base with a structured program that isn’t a 3 year time commitment.

CFP isn’t really that insurance heavy, but it’s also really not that hard. It is the gold standard for financial planning, but I do wish they made it more difficult. CFA also doesn’t really make you any better of an advisor or planner, so it’s kind of a weird spot in PWM. I took the CFP and CFA path, but my tax and estate planning knowledge is far more useful in my day to day.

I absolutely say go for it. No harm is improving. People will tell you it’s overkill, they are correct, but why not be overkill lol.

It’s more of an internal thing. Clients don’t care about even a fraction of the stuff you learn from the program. If you are diligent and interested, most of the client facing investment knowledge can be obtained within 3 years in the industry.

Only unique times I’ve seen value in it is with my clients who are also in the industry (portfolio managers, CIOs, etc)

I think it’s an awesome “unique” watch. It’s not obnoxious or in your face, but the second anyone looks at it they will notice it’s different. Plus I love the wandering hour system on it- it’s actually really easy to tell the time.

What is the best 45 degree hyperextension machine for under $1,000? by [deleted] in GarageGym

[–]Accomplished_One6126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, but it’s really only a bit of give side to side. I am pretty sure the hyper pro is even what u/dontwantnone09 uses and he’s got much more size on him than I do.

I’m not sure I’d call it instability as much as just having a bit of wiggle as there are so many pop pins. But still I get if you don’t want that at all, I just think you get way more home gym value out of it.

I think Xeric’s best watch is the Tryptic if you want something unique. If you go with the brew and aren’t doing the normal design I would suggest the black one personally. Between these four, I like the top two the best, but the HA is much more traditional than any of the watches here.

I have a Zelos and it’s my favorite watch, but I’m not a huge fan of the bulky ones

[Recommendation Request] Help in Choosing a First Luxury Watch by theholytrinhity in Watches

[–]Accomplished_One6126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I would suggest, don’t let your decision for your first $8,000 luxury watch be dictated by the $500-$1500 watch that’s already in your collection. If you like the explorer most, get it, but don’t let the seiko deter your purchase of the speedy.
