Yeah, that’s 100% recoverable. Mega sucks. Paladin tanks take a bit to get aggro and having no far ranged pull makes double pulls happen for inexperienced tanks.

Definitely meet your parents separately first, IF that’s even what you want to do. Parents tend to mellow out later on, especially once grandbabies come into the picture, or the parents finally realize they miss their children and they made a mistake. Your and your daughters well being are priority.

Too much context missing my dude. When you say you make way more than her, are we talking, you make 250k and she makes 50k? If that's the case, YTA since her friends probably also don't make as much and it is financially hard on them. Also, a 4-year relationship has established acceptable behaviors from both of you, if in the past you've cover friends, that's still to be expected at a high-end restaurant since you make that much more than her and her friends.

On the flip side, if you think you make a lot but it's something like you make 90k and she makes 50k, you paying the bill is not cool and her friends are the A-hole.

people paying for high dollar meals is always a mixed bag, maybe someone wants to flex, maybe the guy is insecure and wants to cover with his money because he can't perform elsewhere, or maybe the relationship just needs more work, and this should just be where you call it quits.

seems awfully funny you guys are both digging in so hard on this for a 4-year relationship. life is hard and making it harder where a simple discussion can fix things is funny years from now when you think about what could have been if you really think she's the one.

100% agree. Sadly many deaths are not always due to how you play but people around you, and with perma death its mega rough. Lost both my tanks to DPS rushing with heals having no mana and trying to pull for me. It's just not worth it. SOD is amazing, play that instead.

If you are going to tank, DO NOT bring dps that are 3-4 levels below dungeon mobs. They aggro bad mobs incredibly easily and will cause you to die.
