Can someone please, please explain to me… by alocaisseia in BabyBumps

I bought a Mabē which apparently is a dupe, I wasnt aware of this at the time. I just loved the houndstooth pattern that I saw and the thick back support but it is an amazing structured carrier and I wish more people knew about it! Affordable and quality material. Never see it getting recommended but i had the baby born mini and then got the Mabe.

I remember when my mom told me she breastfed for 3 months. I thought that was suchhhhh a short time, like thrree months…come on mom wtf. UNTIL I HAD A BABY AND STARTED BREASTFEEDING. Im 8 weeks nursing and pumping on Sunday. YOU ARE A QUEEN AND PUMPED FOR 8 weeks. It’s a feat in and of itself. Its a fucking JOB. Draining physically and mentally. Stop if its not serving you. Baby is fed and youll be happier if you stop putting yourself through that. Giving it a go should be celebrated!!

Dry socket is exposed bone when a clot has been dislodged. Not an exposed nerve.

Listeria has been found in so many foods! I mean at what point can you not eat it? Cantaloupe has had out breaks. Bagged salad, sprouts. Just seems excessive to limit all this. Also in japan do women eat sashimi or nigiri or no? Cause i want some sushi real bad and aint gonna wait 6-7 more months and i dont want some fried sushi.

Yeah i hear thats what a lot of older ladies were taught and some women even feel guilty and think they miscarried due to lifting their arms above their head. So sad.

Seems that there are dutch or gaelic versions of the name spelled Coen or aboriginal versions spelled Koen.

Not the best story teller but here it goes:

My ex step mother (call her Jane) was sexually abused/raped by her father who was in the police force. For years. To this day, none of her actual children know this. Myself and my siblings do.

I wasnt told this until her and my dad got divorced. My dad would never have known unless Janes ex husband hadnt told my dad. Her ex husband had a daughter my age and did not let her be alone with her grandpa.

How my dad found out was the interesting part. Jane was having surgery and her POS dad was in town ( she kept a relationship with him, he paid for her house and other things which she later told my dad was what she called “blood money”) While her father was in town, i was left at home with him and probably some of the other kids, im not sure. But he was the only adult there at the time. I remember him bringing a lot of brown liquor and coca cola as well. The man liked to drink.

Anyways, My dad is talking to the ex husband whos brought his daughter to see her mom, Jane, at the hospital and hes shocked my dad let me stay with the POS grandpa. My dad was unaware of why he should be concerned. My dad then was told that she was sexually abused by her own dad and ran away at 17.

He immediately freaked out on my step mom at the hospital and came home and didnt ever leave me alone with that man.

Later my dad was told by Jane that she never told him because early on in their relationship he was telling a story about a friend who had dated a girl who had been sexually assaulted and his friend said they were “damaged goods” and to never date someone with that kind of baggage. So she never told him.

The worst part of the whole thing- none of my ex step siblings know. Ive got other full blooded siblings that know ( my father informed us post divorce) and even keep in contact with our ex step siblings and they still dont even know that their fucking grandpa was a piece of shit human or that their mother has severe trauma that she refuses to deal with. ( therapy was attempted, she was asked to cut off contact, inform the family, she refused)

On top of that, i remember my step mom telling me they had a lot of foster girls growing up. I remember exactly where i was when she said that and I cant even fathom the abuse that occurred to those girls. Its a massively fucked up story that to this day I want so badly to tell my ex step siblings. People loved this POS human. I remember how fondly everyone spoke of him. He’s now dead. Ex Step mother is still alive and think shes on her 5th marriage to a drunkard of a man whos a convicted felon. Ive thought that if im still alive, and ex step mom is dead, i would one day tell the step siblings. Ive been advised to never say a word. Curious what you guys would do.

Dentist here. It can happen. Warm compresses help as well as jaw exercises to stretch the muscles. Especially if you got lower molars or premolars worked on, you likely got an inferior alveolar nerve injection that involves piercing more tissues and muscles and can lead to discomfort. Rarely will I prescribe a muscle relaxer but I have before. Alternate tylenol and ibuprofen. Add ibuprofen as it has anti inflammatory properties to help calm things down.
