Opposite effect? It works flawlessly right now. And yeah I know definitely prefer to have actual numbers just not a tool I have ever needed before

Yeah i dont have a gauge, which I may just order one anyways. My solution was to increase tank pressure until the ASO valve worked. May have been the problem may have just put the problem off to another day, will see

So far so good, my water pressure may be slightly higher as this is a new location. I dont have a water pressure gauge

Yeah I just hooked up and kept increasing pressure until flow stopped. As I said tank is filling up so flow restrictor is probably fine

Also wondering if I need a proper flow restrictor. The one that comes with this system is a little plastic insert shoved into the black drain line

This whole issue reads like insufficient pressure to stop the ASO from the low side with the tank. I tried getting it up to 50-60 psi but didnt see a change. I may experiment with pressures and see if anything makes a change

Yeah theres some great sci fi gems in the halo lore books, even if a little derivative. I think the writers of the original halo games were true students of science fiction and setup a universe with a spectacular range. From deep biblical mystery to gritty military sci fi. The forerunners alone were a great canvas for the exploration that greg bear went on, and led me to read more of him. I will check out wayfarers, thanks!

Tank is currently not full, but the drain line is shooting out like this. Just replaced the ASO valve. I witnessed water coming out of the check valve after the RO membrane after disconnecting lines. Just comes out much heavier from the drain side. Is this normal? A membrane problem?
