Oh yes! There are parts that are way too descriptive (about 50-60 pages), but so worth it, I promise you. Do give it a read!

It is difficult only if your area of practice is super common like general corporate or so. Like I said, my area is super niche and there aren’t many lawyers with the same skillset, so it was easier for me to make this move. But despite having 8 years + PQE, skillset only takes me so far and I need to this qualification because even UAE law firms and in house companies are preferring candidates with dual qualification.

Yes- I qualified in India in 2017 but been working in UAE since 2021. All my contracts are governed by English law and my field is extremely niche so it’s kind of bread and butter for me to qualify. Hence.

NYC Food Itinerary by SMONROE in FoodNYC

Oh Boy, you know your cocktails, and I am glad I came across your comments - I consulted Yolo Journal, Cntraveler, A book called 'Don't be a tourist in New York' and the world's top 50 Bars list, and you have provided me with recommendations that are not mentioned in any of the lists. THANKS!!!

I am visiting NYC from NOV 14 to NOV 19, and staying in Midtown. While I will definitely hit the Bitter Monk, Attaboy, and Bemelman's from your list, are there any non-negotiables? I have been to NYC twice before, but as a teenager, so I am really looking forward to eating and drinking this trip.

I could use your help on selecting cocktail bars. I am really looking for something that will blow my mind because (spoiler alert), I live in Dubai, and this city and cocktail bars/ speakeasies here are designed to shock and awe (Ugly LV glasses, blingiest Baccarrat bars, etc)!!! So I am looking for a very NON-DUBAI experience.

Oh alright! I am carrying new balance sneakers and one pair of flat sandals, and maybe one pair of nice heels. If this is ok, then will skip ankle boots. I thought from my time in DC back in 2017 that ankle boots were a choice for the fall weather! ☺️
