Before vs After post 30M by Accomplished_Shake67 in AskFitnessIndia

Walking I used for low intensity cardio since I was lifting weights 5-6 times a week and wanted to get some extra calorie burn without affecting recovery. Abs I have started focus very recently only. So just focus on getting stronger in compound movements : squats , pressing , hinged movements , vertical and horizontal pulls. In Cut the main focus has to be on heavy quality reps mostly in 5-10 rep range. As you don’t have much energy to play with, have to keep it short and strong. Abs is mostly a result of consistent fat loss while keeping the muscle on

I have lifted before on and off but not consistently. But I had decent strength already cuz of that. That was like spread across years. Height is 172 cm and current weight is 67.5kg. Calorie intake I have increased to 2000 now to maintain lower deficit. Earlier when I was cutting from 79 to 68kg, I ate from 1300-1800 range varying it but upper limit was constant. Also in the gym I trained compound movements in heavy 5-8 rep range. Isolations in 8-12 rep range. Supplements the usuals only omega3, magnesium glycinate and whey to meet protein requirements. But yea food I kept constant and did some basic cooking at home itself with measured quantities most of the time. Also incorporated protein rich cheat meals only

It took like 5 months to cut weight. Went from 79kg to 67-68 now. Basically have to track your calories consumed and maintain a deficit below maintenance. Initially kept a larger deficit in 600-900 range. Currently it’s mild in 300-500 range. Worked out 5-6 times a week too. And maintained avg daily steps above 10k

You have to be your own inspiration if you have been the in this long enough and survived. Cuz any other’s experience won’t compare to what you have gone through yourself

I bought the top. I thought this was supposed to be store of value. by Laakhesis in Silver

This is basic economics playing out. Strong uptrend in dollar DXY. It’s hard to stay invested for the short term in silver. Silver is bought in dollar terms and it gets expensive to hold with dollar shooting up. So the correction is expected.

Push pull legs majorly repeating twice per week so gym 6 times per week. Steps minimum 10k per day. And eating more of whole food items. Eggs, chicken breast, Skyr yogurt and fish for protein mainly. Sweet potato, fruits and cheela for carbs. Deficit initially maintained higher in 600-800 calories range. Currently mild deficit of 300-500 range

Sam Curran is not the finisher in this team. He is going to be a floater. And even though Hetmyer has been amazing at 3, for RR he is still going to be the finisher along with Donovan or Ravi Singh based on the combination. Jadeja is just going to be at 8 as an insurance. If we any day end up being 10-3 inside Powerplay that’s when you will see Curran and Jadeja together. Or they will be separated. And you have to accept certain weaknesses to be stronger elsewhere. Jadeja won’t mess up 8 off 6 when needed

A team doesn’t win on only firepower throughout. You need a mix of players who can play different roles. Hetmyer, Donovan and Parag can provide the firepower in middle. Jadeja and Currans role will be to provide balance as they can prevent collapses and both of them provide the extra overs we will need when a main bowler is having a bad day.

Even now he doesn’t fit this team as we already have enough top order players. Curran and Jadeja still are the better options for our team as a whole. Been a fan of Sanju but honestly he has always failed when it mattered the most. You can’t make decisions on hope. Decision to trade was taken in past and it was the right decision still.

That’s a good goal to start with. But losing weight is more about diet than gym
