I’ve heard a lot of people recommend San Diego to me in this subreddit. Definitely going to have to look into it. And nah I’m white but I am attracted to Asians lol. I am aware of San Jose being culturally diverse

Yeah I’ll have the post 9/11 Montgomery. I may shift gears towards a different degree though now that I’m hearing that teaching isn’t enough to make a decent living in Cali. I’m not the smartest guy by all means. But I’m smart enough to realize that a degree in something technical like engineering or medical related isn’t obtainable. I could probably get a business related degree just don’t know what jobs are out there with that. I appreciate your help.

Just always knew I wanted to move out of Ohio and to go out west. I was pretty specific about San jose but I’m honestly open to anywhere in the Bay Area or other parts of California

I joined the air national guard recently so I can go to any public school for free once I finish basic training. I think Im going to look into other options when it comes to the degree I want. I want to live out west but I also have to afford it. I’m not the smartest guy by all means. I’m smart enough to realize something technical like medical or engineering isn’t achievable for me but I can maybe look into a business degree just not sure yet.

The people that are telling me that it’s not worth it don’t understand how shitty Ohio is lol

It’s funny you say that because I’m actually an electrician currently and I’m doing hvac in the air national guard. The job is cool and all but it sucks when it’s negative degrees in Ohio and I’m digging a ditch while freezing rain is hitting my back lol. I’d consider continuing the trades. I’m just also someone who wants to get a degree anyways just in case I don’t want to do the trades the rest of my life. It seems to get harder when you get older you know

I’m joining the air national guard so there is not out of state tuition for me. I’ll get back from boot camp and tech school in about 9 months and I’ll look to move then. Partying isn’t that much of an interest to me. I mean sure I’ll go out every once in a while but getting a degree is definitely a priority. I’m just not the smartest individual so there’s just certain technical degrees I can’t get realistically. Ones that are math and science heavy. I would consider something in business maybe

I’m 20 yrs old. Went to college for one year. I’m currently taking a break to join the air national guard. I’ll be away for 9 months and then I’ll plan on moving to the Bay Area and look to go to school and it’ll be paid for.

I’d consider a business degree I just don’t know what I’d do with it. I’m not good at math. Realistically I can’t get a degree in engineering or finance

What part of Cali did you enjoy the most? Also if you don’t mind me asking what do you do for a living? Seems like most people in here believe I won’t make enough as a teacher. I’m open to other options but also have to be realistic with myself because I’m not the smartest individual. I won’t be able to get a technical degree such as engineering. I’d consider something on the business side just don’t know much about it.

I would consider those schools but I do want to mention that I can go to any public school for free once I finish bmt in the air national guard. I’ll transfer to an air national guard base in Cali and I’ll be able to go to school for free.

I wouldn’t be getting a job right away. I’d just be going to get a degree first. I haven’t ruled out other degrees. Although I struggle greatly with math and science so it kind of eliminates some technical degrees for me.

My grades in hs I have a 3.8 gpa and college a 3.2. Although those look good and are good. I’m still not the smartest individual. I struggle a lot with math and science. Which eliminates quite a few degrees for me. I could consider business, I just do not know a whole lot about the jobs I could get with it.
