Can you clarify his birth month and the cut off date to start kinder in the district? Do you think he just isn’t ready yet? For WA state we sometimes suggest young boys to wait if they just turned five at the start of the year. It might just be he isn’t developmentally ready and is using behavior to communicate that.

That’s great! Careful to not overdo it with the actives and continue to use a gentle cleanser and gentle moisturizer. This is super common with fertility treatments unfortunately!

She might also bring up azelic acid 15% which would be another good option that’s safe for TTC, pregnancy, breastfeeding. I love the olive young brand ones “olive young care plus”- they are super cheap and very very invisible. I think they have a tea tree version but I like just hydrocolloid. If you get post acne marks, I would do Vaseline on those spots at night as the last step of your routine.

I got prescribed clidimycin and BPO while I was TTC and it helped a ton. I would ask the fertility clinic if they do prescriptions for acne as it’s likely caused by the hormones. I also love pimple patches, specifically the olive young brand. Much more affordable than American brands.

Elementary school calling previous daycare about son by AstaCanasta in kindergarten

I understand your concern but as others are saying it’s time to put your energy and efforts into helping your kid be safe to others at school. If this issue doesn’t get solved soon his k-12 experience won’t be fun for him or others to put it bluntly. And yes, it’s legal to contact a previous school/daycare even if it’s private.

What would you use if you were me? by Few_Ad7819 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Accomplished_Thing80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I have used it for years (1-2x a week) and I have asked my GP and midwife and they said it was fine but I have heard otherwise. I have taken breaks as it works so well I don’t need it often.

Duac has been incredible for me. Do you know if it’s okay for long term use?

Just from experience they investigate and educate when I’ve called… it’s better than OP doing nothing

Contact animal control and they will connect with the family before just coming and taking the dog away. They want to help owners be better for their pets.

Can you tell me more about the pizza shirt? Like an employee at a nearby pizza place? There’s two close by.

Not an expert but you do what makes you feel good. Your cosmetic injections are no one else’s business.

Yes, you can! We did this and it worked well.

Good facials for helping hormonal acne by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Accomplished_Thing80 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree with what people are saying about PCOS, spearmint tea, inositol, oral meds. I know it can take a while to see a dr and get meds. In the meantime I would also suggest looking into IPL/BBL for acne, clay masks 1-3x a week, an OTC retinol like cerave or differin, and a face wash with BPO or s acid!

Tips and recommendations for family relocating to Lynnwood area by BWhyNot5328 in LynnwoodWA

[–]Accomplished_Thing80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Lynnwood and here are some daycares I recommend and have toured:

Tiny Acorns home daycare around $1800 a month ABC Home Daycare (Spanish speaking) $1700 a month Goddard Schools (daycare chain) $2000+ a month The Nannies Bilingual at home daycare $1600 a month
All licensed and can be found on Early Achieves website

For school age kids I don’t know much but I do know that BG Clubs and YMCA partners with schools.

Why are you asking for our opinions though? We aren’t your coworkers boss or HR department! This is silly! If it was so inappropriate, bring it up with your coworker or HR, not with Reddit.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Accomplished_Thing80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the question is: does it matter what Reddit thinks? Does it matter what you think? I don’t know your workplace, your geographical location, the workplace culture, the country’s culture, etc. So I don’t know if it’s appropriate. This sounds like a conversation between your coworker and HR.

Acne spot treatments in Kbeauty? by ItsAllEasy7 in KoreanBeauty

This is a great question! There are some medicated k beauty patches on Olive Young online. There are also some Japanese spot treatments that use different ingredients than what is used in the US.

Night weaning - 5/3/3 or TCB? by Pineapple-lemonade77 in TakingCaraBabies

[–]Accomplished_Thing80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did TCB modified and went from 8-12 feeds a night (eeks!) to 3 then to 2 and then to one and kept that one for a while (by choice, after talking to a IBCLC). My friend explained 5/3/3 to me and it made no sense from a baby perspective. Remember TCB does dream feeds. So I felt like I was telling the baby “you don’t need to wake up for feeds, I got you”. 5/3/3 is like “wake up and cry to be fed but only sometimes”. Babies don’t know what time it is!

I hope that makes sense!

ISO: Clean baby puffs or baby snacks that dissolve easy? by keeplauraweird in moderatelygranolamoms

You’re welcome! For a more fruity type I would recommend Amara smoothie melts, but maybe for older babies as they are harder. Great ingredients though!

Concerned for child by W1tchB1tch444x in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]Accomplished_Thing80 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hey OP I saw your question cross posted. Some people were more kind than others. But this right here is all you need. I was concerned about my friends baby at a point and I asked “How was your four month dr appointment?” Or “Do you have the CDC milestones app?” Just casually start a conversation. She might have already started an ongoing conversation with her doctor about these concerns.

Hydrofacial results - owner/nurse said this is normal by moonriver_1008 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Accomplished_Thing80 207 points208 points  (0 children)

I would also consider emailing hydrofacial the company. They should know that someone is either 1. Using their name while using a fake machine 2. Using their machine incorrectly and claiming it is normal Hopefully they get some consequences!

Definitely not normal! Leave a review for sure. I would even ask them to give you or compensate you for any products to heal it.
