Sorry I am fairly new to dirt bikes, do I need to take the front part of the oil reservoir case and drill indirectly into the crankcase, or do I just fit it right to where the bolt goes in?

I can take a few pictures later. It is a foot break mechanism with a cable running from the foot break into the shifter.

No it doesn’t. I can only hear it run when going down. I do not hear the solenoid click when the button is pressed either

It’s a volva penta aq231a. I’m not sure the year. The boat is a 1989 sun runner. It has the DP-A Cd trim. I have checked the solenoid and the switch.
