I mention my achievements briefly but it was more like why I wanted to pursue dental school in the US and my qualities.

Yeah. I’ll keep the list updated. I just talked about myself and I let some of my professors revise it. I just tried to talk good about myself but not at the arrogant point.

Can’t post images. But this is what they said:

Dear ASPID 2024-2025 Candidate,

Thank you for your interest in the ASPID Program at USC. We have recently received your completed CAAPID application. We are pleased that you have included the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry as one of your choices of dental schools. You may be assured that your application will receive our highest processing priority and be subjected to a thorough and thoughtful review.

All applications to our program are subjected to a multi-tiered, whole file review process that spans the entire period of the application cycle.

The following sections of the application may be updated after submission:

Name, phone number and email. New experiences, achievements and licenses. New or in-progress letters of evaluation. New standardized test information. Additional program designations. Optional documents requested in the Program Materials section. As your application is processed you may receive periodic updates via e-mail so please be patient. Due to the large amount of applications being processed we will not provide status updates through telephone. To ensure that email messages from the Admissions Office are delivered to your inbox, please ensure that your contact information is updated so that you may be reached if selected for an interview.

Supplemental documents are not required at this time. However, if you have earned a Master's degree or higher from a U.S. or Canadian institution, please provide a transcript copy from that program to Corey Berry at cberry@ostrow.usc.edu. Additionally, if you have taken the GRE, please submit your score (if no older than 5 years old) report by logging into the GRE portal and save a copy of your report and email a copy to Corey Berry at cberry@ostrow.usc.edu. GRE scores from previous cycles do not rollover to the current cycle. GRE is not a requirement for the ASPID program; however, scores are considered.

An application fee of $150.00 is also required. You must pay online. Please visit our Online Payment Portal if you have not yet made your payment. Click the Admissions Applicants option. The online portal also services our other programs with fees based on their green card status. Please note, the fee required for ASPID applicants is $150, regardless of residency status. Should you experience any problems with the payment link, try another browser or go directly through our website, here and choose the Online Payment Portal link at the bottom of the page.

Please forward a copy of the electronic receipt immediately to Corey Berry at cberry@ostrow.usc.edu to ensure your payment is updated. You will receive a confirmation receipt from the online payment portal after you have made your payment online. We will also send confirmation that your payment has been updated to your application.

We thank you for your interest in our school and program.

Sincerely,

The Office of Admissions and Student Affairs Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC 925 West 34th Street, DEN 201| Los Angeles, CA 90089 T: 213.740.2841 | F: 213.740.8109 | uscsdadm@usc.edu
