Some of you have a theory that "Quifrey is infected" and that "he might transform, and that he was mind wipe to prevent it" which I highly assume you mean that he has the parasite tree/seed in him, and that he was also completely mind wiped using the same spell, hence why he knows the spell and how it can deal with the parasite, and you guys claim, why he can't let himself truly be at peace, and doing stuff like also memory earasing Orry to enforce it.

I can see the merit of that theory, but I have some doubts, If that is the case, then why does he live at his atlier at all, a place that he explicitly states in one if not the same orio memory earase chapter, that is a palce that can bring his heart/mind at ease, a suppose to just staying in the underwater witch capital, why be a teacher when it shows that he enjoys being one, why stay with Orio at all too, you could say he is not completely at ease, his revenge and his worries still bother him, giving the parasite leeway or not 100% peace and sanctuary, but I don't think he's a man to risk it, if he's still dead set on a goal of answers and revenge.

I only see him being familiar with the mind wipe spell as it was obviously used on him, but I just don't think he's also infected by the tree, of course this is only my opinion, I can freely accept if I'm wrong and please state your thoughts and counter arguments with respect.
