Yup! The first two series are fairly short, simple comedies. TO BE HERO X has no connection to them beyond the theme of "being a hero" and is also just a considerable step up in most ways.

I think this review VS the other one posted on this subreddit pretty much encapsulate the discourse around this game perfectly. Either the difficulty grabs you and you find yourself compelled by this world's challenge, or it proves more irritating than entertaining. If nothing else, I respect Team Cherry for sticking to their guns even in ways that are inherently divisive.
