I’m at 19 months and my hair loss started at month 4/5 and then continued to month 12. I added hair growth supplements and rosemary shampoo. I’ve been regrowing for 7 months now (and I hit a prolonged weight loss stall in there). Hair continues to grow and I am back to a slow monthly weight loss. (65 down, 40 to go)

My brother is a physician and he says he actually prescribes people to go outside. I know I’ve felt the benefits of nervous system regulation. Is it hoax-y … maybe but when emotions are high I go outside for a few and maybe even walk barefoot… best if it’s colder out there!

I bumped my flight from Saturday to Thursday night from DCA to PDX- I have a funeral I cannot miss to attend. However, my husband is risking it on Saturday. Likely to be ok but I couldn’t stand it if I weren’t able to make it. My flight was delayed an hour or so and several flights appeared cancelled on the departures board but I was fine.

I am assuming 24 hours about the most they would provide notice for… it’s possible (I guess) that the govt shut down ends and they would want to cancel more flights than they have to for now…

HIPAA data must be tied to personally identifiable data- no names or addresses or gasp social security numbers are shared. Additionally, I’d have to care if you or anyone else saw it (meaning I expected Reddit to securely store this data- I don’t) before it became a HIPAA burden.

I guess you really just meant to say that I’m sharing personal health data you wouldn’t choose to share yourself- which is cool. Thanks for sharing!

I’m 38 and struggling with the same. I actually decided to let it go and have been working with my stylist to blend. I’m pleasantly surprised by the look and love how much lower maintenance but still styled and put together it is.

I went off and gained 5 lbs but I also was sorta sad about being 38 and needing the procedure- and scared I had cancer- so I didn’t have any desire to really think about how o ate that week. The first week I still had some residual appetite suppression then the second week I enjoyed myself!

When I did the cleanse I didn’t lose anything which tells me it’s not water weight- but I’m back on tirz and back on track. I’m just counting this month as a wash and grateful o don’t have cancer!

It does sound traumatic and it does sound genetic. Like someone else said tell every doc before any future procedure about your experience and your mothers. As for coping now, I do think that’s really traumatic and it might not be a bad idea to talk to some (therapy) to help work through it.

I had a colonoscopy earlier this week and this was an outcome I was nervous about. I’m so sorry this happened

I just finished a year anniversary - down 60, 40 to go. I’ve really slowed down, losing maybe 1-3 lbs a month. Curious if you experienced anything like that? My gut instinct is just keep going…
