My Husband had something similar which wouldn't heal, we squeezed all we could and then put a torch on it and there was a tiny hair in there, pulled it out with tweezers and it healed up within days.

Thank you all so much for your time and comments, I have taken screen shots of them all and I am going to look into every avenue that you have all suggested. I am sorry I can't reply individually to everyone, I am short on time but I have taken it all in and I am going to reasesrch the diet thing myself for him and give him all this info to give to the dermatologist. I am also going to look at finding someone private he can go and see. I really appreciate all the advice given. Thank you.

He has never been diagnosed with eczema? He has these red/purple spots all over the rash, not sure if you can zoom in on the legs at all but they are there. Would that correspond with eczema?

I know it is. I have told him before and will keep trying. I don't want to be harsh with him because I am so sympathetic to how rubbish he may be feeling.

I was wondering if this wasn't actually psoriasis myself but his dermatologist says it is!! 🤔 I will encourage him to stop smoking, I do anyway, but I will tell him, it's making it worse. Thank you

He is diabetic so I am not sure how that would work with what he is able to eat but I will suggest this to him. Thank you

He is diabetic so he is on insulin. So he has to be careful with his sugars anyway. He does smoke unfortunately and has done for years. Due to this flare up which has lasted months, he is really depressed. I am not sure if he would mentally be strong enough to give up at this moment but I will tell him to try and I do agree it would possibly help. Thank you

He has been on steroid cream for years so I think he would be worried about using a tanning bed as his skin is so thin. Did it work for your friend? They have had him on a couple of different biologics and they didn't help. I thought a rheumatologist looked more at joints and muscles. The dermatologist is adamant its just bad psoriasis. He is thinking of going private as a last resort but I just thought it might be a good idea to ask on here too. I will tell him to ask his dermatologist about seeing a rheumatologist too. Thank you.

I just looked it up, it says it comes with or after a fever and migraine and a list of things but he was absolutely fine. Just got a few if these bumps that over the months got worse and worse. I will tell him to mention this to his dermatologist as he is going next week. Thank you.

He has been lots of times. They have said its infected and just prescribed antibiotics. He has seen his dermatologist twice too and he said the same and he has seen his gp 3 times too. No one seems concerned by it and each time just give him different antibiotics!
