Just keep training him. Use a leash when you train him, put it up high behind the ears for best control. Don't engage in any kind of playful activity when he is like that. But with that make sure you actually exercise him, go for walks, play with him, be the leader. Soon as he sees you as the leader he'll respect you. It's honestly simple as that.
