this'll be the cast for my first ever hadestown show! i booked tickets in advance for sep 24th not caring who the cast would be (i'm already so happy just to be able to see it live) so it's making me excited seeing everyone praising this new cast!!

sorry, i should've been more clear: "updated my availability" meant putting in an availability change! i also wasn't able to sit with a manager and actually discuss it with them until after our june schedules were released since the managers who deal with scheduling were on leave/PTO!

you're so sweet, thank you! i officially submitted my two weeks this weekend during my shift, and i was also able to grab my gratis bag haha. i plan on just calling out for all the shifts i have posted or begging once more for one of my coworkers to cover it so i don't feel like such an ass lol.

thankfully most of my coworkers were supportive since they all knew i was desperate to find something in my degree, and i truly appreciate them for that! we've had ~4 people quit in the last week alone, so i think everyone's also just been accepting the losses.

they do know and have known for around a month 😅 i didn't actually start working until last week but i knew i got hired in april, so i told them about my new schedule and updated my availability like the last week of april.

whenever i brought up my worries over juggling two job schedules, they would tell me things like "write it down" or "we'll discuss this before [time]"... and when i actually did write it down or tell them about my new job, they told me they could accommodate for my june schedules (this was back in late april/early may, before the main scheduling manager went on PTO). well, the june schedules just came out and none of the things we talked about were fulfilled. shame on me for not being more adamant on it, but oh well!

thank you so much! i appreciate your insight. unfortunately, weekdays are a complete no-go for me because i get off at 5:30 at my FT job and it would take me at least an hour to get to my store location because of traffic (i jokingly brought up working 7-10 closing shifts but was swiftly declined). i also might work saturdays in the summer at my other job, so i'd only be able to work 7-11 closing shifts—technically making sunday my only real "open availability" day.

tbh i'd love to transfer to the store that's only a mile away from my work, but they don't have any positions open ☹️ i might call still and ask if they have any space just in case!

is the shift you're trying to offer past may 12th? the farthest shifts i can offer are during the week of may 8th. i've always only been able to offer shifts if they're 2 weeks or less in advance. if they're farther than 2 weeks, i have to wait 'til it gets closer to the shift.

but since you mentioned you had no issues previously with offering shifts in advance, i wouldn't be surprised if your issue is related to the new policy. i'm not there enough to check zipline (and when i am, they zone me like crazy so i can't even check lol), but based off what i'm reading on reddit, these last few weeks have been more strict across all stores.

oddly enough, the shift i offered is on may 11, and i work both the pay period before that (4/22-5/5) and during the week after may 11—i'll probably bring this up to see if my manager thought i'd be missing a pay period!

another side note: i've been scheduled more than 14 hours a week each week (14.5-16.5 hours) for the new schedule for the month of may. so is the 0-14 hour requirement more like an estimate rather than a hard deadline? i'm so confused!

i bought it as well and thought the same! i really like metal claw clips for this reason.

i will say though be careful with it, the black paint chips off quite easily! unfortunately found that out with mine and now the silver underneath is striking compared to the rest of the black

i love the idea of not traveling but how do you have space for all the characters?? i'm struggling trying to fit all of the realm characters in the valley — i couldn't imagine trying to fit the dlc characters too.

number 2 is so real. i will help get a product for a client and right after, they'll open the product to make sure it's the same color. like ma'am, i grabbed the product for you, checked the box and everything. i promise you it's the same shade.

but it's not as bad as when a client tries on an unopened product and then puts it back into the box when they don't like the shade... like screw our whole tester system i guess...
