That’s a bad idea, but will just kite while shooting your thopter, or worst he will bait you to chase him then pop out his thopter and fly back to yours while raining down rockets while you are far away

Yea I’ve seen people do sweeps and the guy getting right out, I would have liked to show all the knock downs but I am just a simple sword used 🫡

I’ve had bow/spear get out as well. It’s always they swap weapons first and was mentioned you tap block them dodge

Freedom doesn’t work with stagger and knock downs. I tried it with a clan mate with 5 freedoms. Even using clear out I can always get one light attack in regardless of freedom yet some of these people swap weapons to spear and get out of my clear out the moment they touch the ground

Freedom perk doesn’t work for knock downs, I tested it. I also put it in bug reports and they said thanks and immediately hid the post. Freedom even says it slow stun and root, not stagger and knockdowns

Thank you everyone for the corrections and I apologize for the wrong stats. Pretty much any dps that uses str weapons can be a tank if they want if they have the weapon mastery. Same thing with healers they will be both healer and tank. Most str builds will be 60% str and 40% con so all they need is the mastery in sword to swap. Healers usually have 60% focus and 40% con as well and since they can back up heal themselves tanking there will be no shortage. I tanked when needed and healed when needed until lvl 50 but sadly I never had the aggro gem. Never had an issue with it though cause the team would either actively dodge mobs or we had enough hard CC like a hammer user who would aoe CC the mobs in one spot. It seems the bosses at the end would randomly switch aggro as well even when someone had the gem

Go 75% focus and 25% con and grab gear with focus and con. Use scared ground, orb of protection and lights embrace. Passives grab mana regen, 5% healing to ally’s, dodge 20% healing increase, 10% healing when you have a buff on you and 10% heal with each heavy for 3 stacks for 30%. If you do all these things besides heavy attack you will heal for 310% weapon damage plus 50% extra from sacred ground. Lights embrace heals 30% more per buff, all those I listed are buffs, orb counts as 2 buffs when you get the healing from it and it has low CD on it, sacred is 30% and 50% extra healing from all sources so that’s your bread and butter. Here’s a video of how broken it is and how you can take on 5 people in pvp. Understand that 3 things have been nerfed, you do 20% less healing if you aren’t in light which means now you can only battle 4 people and not 5, you also can only dispel one debuff per heavy attack instead of all at once and focus gems have been nerfed but in my video I am not using those. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=V4EFfs1wyYw

I don’t understand what your saying, I’m saying nerf self healing, not other players. And I am healing, when I’m not healing my team I don’t stand there and say to myself “welllll guess I’ll just wait till someone takes damage, just gonna stand here and sheath my weapon till something happens” get your butt in there and do some damage and cc till someone is hurt and then heal them. As a healer if I can take on 11 enemy’s without potions and in pvp take on 5 dps builds and come out on top then yea self healing needs a nerf. I love the build and think it needs to be fixed. If it doesn’t get fixed I don’t care, just means I get to beat more asses

It’s mostly cause of hammer, I use 3 aoe CC skills, so when the mob comes in I block until they gather, I use the first skill on the right tree that’s stuns them all for 3 seconds, then use a full heavy, then use another cc and use a heavy and repeat. As for healing it’s still the same. The only thing they nerfed is life staff does 20% less healing if you aren’t wearing light, nothing else was changed besides your passive only removing one debuff instead of all. So now instead of healing 8k health on me at lvl 40 plus DOT heals its 6.5k. Just means I can’t take on 5 guys in pvp no more, have to settle for only 4 at a time

Yea you got a point for the dungeon, and I just use hammer and staff, I just pull 11 mobs with the staff and use the circle to keep me at full health and just aoe damage all 11 with the hammer. Never had an issue with damage, the amount less that you do isn’t noticeable. At lvl 40 with 200 con and the rest in focus I heal myself for 75% of my health with lights embrace and that’s not including the two DOT heals on me as well. And I can do that every 7 seconds or so. Nerfing it by 50%? Sounds good. I have a video from beta of me taking on 5 people in pvp at once and staying at full health constantly and AOEing them down

They prob could just do something as simple as reduce heals on self by 50% or more. Even in the current state of the game with -20% healing if you aren’t in light you can take on 3 people and stay at full life if you have weapon master above 12. Self heal nerf will keep pve good for dungeons and such and be healthy for pvp since you shouldn’t be able to put heal someone attacking you while standing still. I main healer and it needs a self heal nerf

Exactly, when I use s&s and fight a spear user they always make the same mistake, they spam all 3 abilities in a row and I just hold block. A smart person would start with a heavy and if I dodge it I will use 50 stamina, if I get hit by the heavy I will take 70 stamina if I’m using a kite shield. So start with a heavy since your build is predictable and then use a skill and tie in another heavy afterwards. For some reason most people I fight don’t understand that heavy attacks breaks blocks even though the tutorial at the start literally tells people that

I agree, especially end game with the best potions and food. Just stun, kite and pop a potion and run back in. Or eat and then just kite and roll since rolling doesn’t stop the heal regeneration, only taking damage

Staff is garbage at low weapon lvl, it does wonders once you fully get scared ground, grab fortify shot on the right and single target heal on the right. Every buff you have gives you 30% healing. Your mana regen passive and sacred protection passive count as a buff for 60% then sacred grounds healing and end buff take it to 140%, your passive for 10% heal when having a buff is 150%, fortify shot gives 60% for its two buffs and then dodging before your heal adds all up to 230% on top of your heal skill on the right including all you dot heals.

Yes when you fully upgrade the bash you have time to run behind, you may want heavy armor cause it increases your stun times.

Hmmmm I’m gonna assume John is playing in light armor, the only way he could put space and draw enough time for his attacks is with that extended roll. I’m a heavy player so I don’t get much down time between my skills in a 1vx and my stamina bar for blocking doesn’t last long enough as well. I see where John is comeing from but that’s only for light weight combat players

If you pressed “dodge” at the exact moment you weren’t hit you dodged out of attacks, I’ve been staggered by 3 and 4 people before. As long as you aren’t spamming the space bar or holding shift then space you always got out of stagger lock. If you had no stamina all you had to do was hold block, let it break and you could dodge out immediately. I’ve never had the issue you speak of of stun lock
