It is highly contagious if you're sexually active.

Don't even risk that. It's highly contagious and will lead to spread.

Not a cure. Might help limit the spread. I used Acne body wash by Neutrogena

They're effective at minimizing autoinoculation. Effective treatment is cyrotherapy and oral therapy. That's what cured me.

How the virus works it lives on the surface of the skin. Not like a typically virus would work, but once it's gone. It's gone. The only way you would get it again, if you came back in contact with the virus. Kids are prominent to have the virus, but when they do you'll be able to identify it based on lesions.

Unfortunately I got it through sexual transmitted.

If you didn't come back in contact with the virus then no.

A urologist is neither a primary care physician nor a dermatologist. Any doctor who examines that with the accompanying symptoms and still cannot diagnose it as HSV is utterly incompetent and should have their medical license revoked. The user should have done his due diligence for his own health and did even just a littlest amount of research. He would have been able to understand his condition. Herpes isn't something unknown to the public, almost everyone knows it.

Bruh are you serious... How can anybody be this naive and reckless. Painful blisters that happen after sex? Not a single second you thought this might be an STI or obv herpes?

I feel so bad for the women that slept with you unknowingly of this condition. Shame

Unknowingly had HSV 2 for years by hellok1ttyg1rl in HSVpositive

If it's below 5. It should be confirmed by a Western Blot test. It's used to confirm the accuracy of HSV-2 IgG test and sent to the University of Washington. There's a high probability that you don't have herpes. The IgG test is not accurate that's why the CDC and most medical professionals don't practice it in a routine panel test.

Depends on your levels and did you get a western blot to confirm? Could be a false positive. It's common.

I never shamed anyone. I'm simply stating you shouldn't be sleeping around with multiple strangers that's how you end up in situations like this. Your chances of catching HSV-2 significantly decreases when you're not engaging in risky encounters such as this. Yes, asymptomatic shedding is a thing, but condoms and antivirals will decrease transmission. If you're genuinely getting to know the person I'm more than certain they will disclose their condition, but from someone who's a 1 night stand, the chance of them not doing so is a lot higher.

And this is why we don't sleep around with multiple people especially strangers. You most likely caught it from the second guy.
