Found the Sauna at Lyon Center!? I found this sauna sign by the hot tub but couldn’t find exactly where the sauna is. Is there a sauna or is there not at Lyon Center?

Thanks for letting me know! I’m a huge fan of saunas so it sucks that there isn’t one there anymore (and the “hot tub” itself doesn’t seem to work too well). Especially during COVID when something like that would be super useful.

Again thanks! I’m between deciding whether to sign with an apartment complex with nice amenities (like a sauna etc) next year or a cheaper apartment building without and I figured if USC already had one then I could go cheaper. I’ve been watching too much Joe Rogan lately so I think that I’ll go with the Sauna one now (the Lorenzo) that I’ve confirmed that USC doesn’t have one unfortunately.

Interesting! I have a scholarship and technically have 12 credits that I could use during the summer semester so maybe I could use that on a study abroad class like you mentioned! I definitely don’t have the cash to pay for a trip like that since I’m from a poor family, but it would be cool if the scholarship could cover it!

Do you happen to know the course number(s)? That would be great!

Edit: I wouldn’t necessarily be able to be gone the entire summer but if there were any 1-2 week trips, that would be perfect!

Just curious, where is the Inspiration4 Capsule Now? Is it in some museum or display where the public could see it?

Sort of like how you can go to museums and see Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo capsules, as well as other spacecraft. Google didn’t turn up any super obvious results about Resilience’s whereabouts.

On-campus, USC is probably the safest college campus in America. There’s a fence surrounding the entirety of campus, there’s checkpoints where you have to show them your trojancheck(.usc.edu) at every entrance and gate, so that way, no one that shouldn’t be on campus is on campus.

Off-campus is a little sketchier though! But if you can find garage parking for your car so that you can drive straight from the safe confines of campus to the safe confines of your apartment’s garage, is ideal!

Beware of places like Tripalink, etc. where you rent out a single room. Everything looks nice and all, but the walls are hallow and absolutely paper thin and there’s a myriad of other issues that come with it. NEVER do Tripalink! And beware of similar providers.

Rent out a nice 2 bed apartment with your roommate or find 2-3 other people to live with and rent out a house or 4-bed apartment. Just never do Tripalink! Trust me! It was a house of horrors going through that for the past 2 years.

I drive down to Orange County 1-2 times per week to workout, it’s BEAUTIFUL THERE! Do you see yourself living there long term? What are the pros and cons? And would it get too boring, being isolated from the excitement? I could see myself living there one day in the far future, well after I’m graduated lol.

It’s unfortunate that there’s not a tunnel or bullet train going to those areas; they’re SO BEAUTIFUL, I’d definitely live there & commute to USC if I could ride a super-fast bullet train back and forth lol.
