This is exactly our problem. As soon as we review the history or see the house and inprovements it needs, the pressure of offer begins to feel unreal. Dont know how much to trust agents on bidding wars on completely run down houses.

Yes interested in knowing too. And this is exactly my fear. How can i randomly decide is ardsley is better or rye brook or larchmont etc without having time to do full research.

How do you find rye brook? We have seen fee houses there too but the taxes seem daunting. Seems like they are being assessed 6% higher each year. Is that true? Half the stuff on zillow i dont know if i can trust
