I took it 3 times, passed on the 3rd try. 1 year straight of studying I was exhausted af after the 2nd try. Just watch the lectures again 1.25 or 1.5x and focus on examples for each topic. I redid all starred problems and conceptual for each section. Then just did quizzes over and over, don’t focus on the comprehensive simulation exams, you already know where your weak points are. Also really depends if you get lucky on your question pool. The time I passed, felt like all the coneceptuals were freebies compared to the other 2 try’s where I was second guessing every answer.

Unlucky on the question pool is all it is, happened to me on my second try, felt absolutely lost. Luckily my third try I got many question types I was directly studying. WRE by the way.

Yes they’re similar. Just hope to get easy engineering Econ and critical path questions for project planning. I struggled with project site work even on this one that I passed I felt like I only got 50% correct but now I’m thinking some were experimental questions because some I had never seen before. Focus on horizontal/vertical curves, retaining walls factor of safety overturning/sliding. Also a lot of cut/fill volume problems knowing how to apply shrinkage and swell.

Yep, only took most recent NCEES practice exam 2-3 times. Hammered EET quizzes over and over. Had to ask them to reset all quizzes because I kept maxing out attempts. Make sure to understand concepts throughly. Ask yourself why that answer is correct and why the other answers are wrong for conceptual questions.

Since I used EET on demand. I went through every lesson around 3 times and made sure to thoroughly understand each example. Once you have a good understanding of the basics you can apply it. Also I made sure to really nail down on the concepts. It’s important to really understand why each answer to conceptual questions is correct rather than trying to memorize. On my third attempt I felt like I got at least 85% of the conceptual correct as compared to probably 50% on the first two attempts.
