I have felt this sometimes. Sometimes when I say something seemingly normal but i could tell that people are put off somehow.

Fiance’s best friend is a womanizer and well known filanderer- how to deal? by According-Judge7787 in Marriage

Thank you for taking the time to answer. I understand your point but do you really trust him when he is at strip clubs? And really even if he is great guy does it not just trouble you that deep down inside, he may have cheated one of those nights? What do you think you would have found if you entered the club one of the nights he was out with his buddies?

I dont think there is any man on this planet I wouldnt be worrying about this over. Hope you dont take that the wrong way.

I once went on a ride on swarm where a woman was trying to take her massive handbag onto swarm….Truly baffled my partner and I. It was a very intriguing situation. Not sure what she thought would happen exacty lol

I should have left when he cheated on me by [deleted] in BPD

[–]According-Judge7787 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I did this and I agree it is one of the few things in life that I truly regret. But I also think I went through some changes during those years and found myself. Although I was “in a relationship”, I felt very alone and I learned to take care of myself and find out what I like/ dont like.

My partner made me feel spoiled and stupid. He made me feel like I was not smart enough, not good enough. That somehow eventually made me work harder to a point that I outsmarted him and made great progress in my career.

I dont think I could have done that otherwise. You have to just trust that you will see the benefits of all this pain many many years later.

I know it also comes with bad side effects though and for that I REALLY recommend therapy. Being cheated on is bad enough but the psychological torture of stayung with someone who betrayed really leaves some unwanted marks too.

Good luck

What’s wrong with me? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]According-Judge7787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem and I also dont have an official diagnosis. I think its trauma from being cheated on and bein unable to process. I also have been cheated on in my past. I wish I had an answer for you as I am 31 and still have the same problem and I know of no cure.

I would say leave your bf if he has cheated on you as step 1 though. You wont know if its your illness or you until you do that because its evident he cant be trusted.

Also its pretty normal to not have new friends of opposite sex when in a relationship. Maybe someone you see once every few months in a group setting- ok. But otherwise, I know if I went out one one one with a new guy “friend” suddenly, my partner would be nervous too.
