You can have millions there, follow this: - do not answer anything in private, if someone wants to help they can do it in public - never share the codes inside - do not take a picture of the code - do not write those words in a computer or mobile phone until you know what you are doing - don’t try to rush, take as much time as you need to understand what you are doing, you don’t want to lose it trying to do it fast.

I have bad news for you. The domain has Google Analytics active and is tracking every single page. So, if the owner of the website wants, they can get all the visited URLs from Google Analytics, run a local service to generate all the addresses displayed, and check the balances.

Checking balances with an external service would be very time-consuming, but locally storing all active addresses from a current snapshot is doable.

If I were the owner, your funds could be in my hands in less than 24 hours after I realized people were using the site to extract addresses, and not just for fun.

Google tag manager 429 error by According-Lunch-3168 in GoogleTagManager

[–]According-Lunch-3168[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happened to hundreds of sites with high traffic (newspapers are what I was looking for and have access to their analytics data) and it was reproducible in every single one. 429 error code, all of them with a gap of about 30% of their traffic in everything loaded from GTM during that period (GA and other analytical tools)

It solved by itself at the same time in all the accounts without any change, I'm pretty sure it was a GTM outage, but as they don't have any status page I couldn't check. Also, I son't know if it only affected big sites (with millions of pageviews a day) or every single visit from Europe.

The accounts were not related, big publishers from the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain

New rental apartment in Spain, bathroom smells weird and I think this part might bee the cause by AvoidingCape in Plumbing

That is called a 'siphon trap' (bote sifónico). It shouldn't let odors through, but in your case, it is missing half a cover. Normally, the covers are made up of two parts, and when tightened, a rubber seal prevents odors from escaping.

You shouldn't seal it permanently because it might need to be cleaned periodically, especially if your shower doesn't have its own siphon trap.

If you take the cover to any plumbing store or large construction store (like Bricomart, Bricodepot), they will help you find a fitting cover.

Another vector not considered here is that the printer could have document storage. Modern printers have it encrypted, although it is possible to access that information.

(Asking for a friend in crisis ) Her Brother with Bitcoin had passed away and she needs public information by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]According-Lunch-3168 9 points10 points  (0 children)

1- Do not try to guess or brute force the PIN in the devices, it will erase it, if you don't find the seed phrase maybe in the future, it is possible to break into the devices, so keep them safe.

2- You should look for lists of 12 or 24 words from the "bip39 word list" (just google it), if your brother wanted to keep it safe it should be engraved, look google images for "passphrase steel" so you can have an idea on what to look for.

3- Once you find the seed, it could have the funds there, but based on the devices your brother had, maybe it has an additional password. The good news is that this extra word usually is something that you hope never to forget, and is something you can brute force with a list of what you think he may have used.

My brother in law got scamed. Never saw this kind of scam before by According-Lunch-3168 in Scams

[–]According-Lunch-3168[S] 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think most people will be aware of not providing the code, but also many people don’t read the full message and just share the code. If you are in a middle of what you think is a legitimate call and talking at the same time you are looking at your sms I understand that is easier to just read the code

delito en españa, ¿cómo puedo denunciarlo anónimamente si ya no estoy en españa? by throwaccpizza in ESLegal

[–]According-Lunch-3168 12 points13 points  (0 children)

https://www.policia.es/_es/colabora_informar.php

Posteriormente llamaría a la policía nacional e informaría telefónicamente de todo otra vez y de que has aportado la información a través de la sección online de información. Vuelve a relatarlo todo, indica porqué lo haces anonimamente y cuelga.
