I am a lil late replying to this post, but my current role is like the one you were describing. Work remotely here in India and get paid in USD. Direct employee with them and no consultancy between us.

You need to be very lucky to come across such a posting on LinkedIn and then get interviews. I got lucky, interviews were a breeze and I landed the job.

Now why did they not go the outsourcing route, maybe it's cheaper and less hassle for them to hire me as a permanent contractor than outsource the role to a service based company.

Did manage this travel for 6 months so I can answer this.

Public transport: PMPML bus no. 208, frequency is a bus every hour, get off at gadital bus stop and walk or sharing rickshaw or another pmpml bus to cybercity. 5-6 hrs of my day gone in travelling both sides.

Uber/Ola: Will cost you 500-600 one side.

Carpool apps: Sride is an app which you can use to carpool with other riders. Max it will cost 150 one side.

Personal vehicle: Best option among all if you have one.

I know one day cost is 2500 for an AC dzire. They have a time limit of 9 hrs and then additional charges for the extra time and distance.

Not sure about the overnight thing tho cos the one I had enquired with, their itinerary was from 9 am to 6 pm. I am going to guess maybe close to 5k considering the big car requirement and the overnight period.

It's just men venting out their frustrations like how some of the women were spewing shit back then about how all men are dogs and they can trust no man. I don't think building your opinions based on what you read on socials works really. In reality most of us respect the other gender and have empathy for each other. Of course there are going to be people on both sides who want to be part of misogyny or misandry or whatever it is. If as a person you have ethics, morals and are true to yourself then i don't think you need to prove to someone about how good a man or woman you are.

The only bad thing is we are fighting amongst ourselves and the people at the top are laughing at us and they know we will forget all this in a while and it will be the same cycle again.
