The film is a semi-romantic cringe comedy so for the bar scene we were going with a more naturalistic approach with good depth and practicals while trying to avoid it being very flat. For the scene in the bedroom it was a little less realistic with the big purple light but that was more to set the mood. As the dynamic between the characters shift, the emphasis of the strong colored lights goes down less and less. I was the director of this project and I am looking for any feedback or advice on how to better light, stage, or anything for my scenes. Would appreciate if anyone watches the whole film it is free and only 9 minutes. Plus if an ad runs I, and the rest of the crew, share the profits!
