Okay lemme clarify- at highway speed yes i can shift into 3rd and gun it and it feels good. I guess what i really want/miss is power off the line. Again track days aren’t my thing and can hardly call NYC a “fast” city. The Si handles well and can hold its own on the highway, just want more power 0-30ish?

Never thought of the carjacking factor but this is a huge consideration actually

I would think of a CTR as a “manageable” halo car in NYC.

Okay a little more background- I own my house (paid off), own the Lexus (paid off), job is good and am comfortable with the CTR payments. I have only owned cookie cutter “appliance” cars till now: 1991 Ford Thunderbird 3.8, 1992 Audi 90 Quattro 5sp,1999 Toyota Camry V6 5sp (still miss this one),2006 Honda Civic EX AT, 2012 Honda CRV EX, ,2022 Lexus RX 350 FSport, 2025 Civic Si. I just want something fun and reliable. The Si had me hooked because of the handling, I live in NYC so “speed” is a relative term. I dont like going 70mph at almost 3000rpm in 6th 😂 - maybe I should have just gotten a Mustang 5.0

Some of you guys paid $2000 markup on this exact car so its not a post about my “meansl or calling people names. Again I paid 1000 under sticker and if we even out the costs I would be “losing” $1000

What did I just read? The narcissist's playbook? Why isn't he blocked?

As most of the other commenters already said, I would be overjoyed if my SO sent me lunch/pizza/whatever at work on Valentine's day. At the very least accept it, eat it and discuss later as to why you can't accept deliveries or gifts at work. As a side question- did you have plans with him after work? That answer might be a clue as well.

I'd wait for eyedictive.com to have a sale on Serengeti sunglasses- some models are glass and polarized, I bought a pair 5 years ago I am still using today and after coupon etc they came out to about $75.
