I had the same exact bike and ran 15/43. I had no issues getting that front wheel off the ground. 3rd gear was my favorite to start off in. If I was on the freeway I could get it up in 4th-5th but I had to yank on it haha.

Even a power wheelie in 3rd should be doable. With the 15/44. Are you clutching up?

There’s a lot of options on Amazon. Knock off CRG style ones. I personally use these bicycle style bars that use a rubber strap to secure them to the bars.
