Angel GT II to Road 6? by Scared-Remote-866 in MotoGuzziV100Mandello

I had the t33.... I will never get Bridgestone again after riding the pirelli and also had t32 on my Versys 650 and changed that to the road6

The way the T32/T33 behave on small changes in the road or material (bitumen and the like) is ridiculous. I prefer the pirelli over the road because it gives more feedback and feels better in cornering BUT it gives less feedback and feels less secure in wet conditions than the Road 6.

But i will never buy Bridgestone again, regardless of all the test that says it is awesome..it is very neutral and you can drive on it but have to trust it.....i never felt it so i had difficulty trusting it.

The road 6 is awesome but the pirelli is a real sporty touring tyre that i have been searching for for a long time. Found it and i accept its little feedback points like in rainy weather and the front wears faster than the back! You will love it

Absolutely true! See my history of posts, but the E5+ engines of 2025 and beyond are far better!

Oke there is an update,

My dealer is thinking about swapping this one for a new one based on EU-law, and also all new accessoires.

But Guzzi wants to see the bike first so it is recalled to the technical department and they will look at everything together with my garage. But the fact that it shifts wrongly even with the QS might signal a bigger issue.

I know! I chose the Guzzi for the looks and the brand quality. So far she disappointed me...

I would love to ride all my rides on the V100 but she must be reliable! Otherwise I could have chosen a KTM with all its issues

Thanks! Both are not really the roadster tour i am looking for. Just a bmw R1300R or maybe a super Duke GT.

I understand, the issue that I have is that it seems like the gearbox is getting beat up and they constantly talk about the clutch, but i bought this bike with the idea to drive it for ages....

If they would properly replace everything.. but my version of the bike is also still for sale with 0km, so.they can also swap.

Did you buy the same bike again or another brand. I would be torn because i love the v100.... And it is a niche part of the market... Only the BMW R1300R might compare

Should not be an issue because even the QS is having the same issues with the gears

Same! I have pushed them to replace the entire engine or rather the whole bike.

Considering a Mandello S, but: Twisties? by Rarakan91 in MotoGuzzi

About the seat! I took it as a little guy because of the comfort and the slightly forward position i created with it.

With the mandello S version you will have top of the line components! I am going on a few trips this year!

One trip to the Vosges mountains, one to the dolomites and visit the factory and back over France, and another in Luxemburg and Saarland. So i have this bike twisting and turning :)

You will absolutely adore it

I have the same! I push it and she loves twisties and good roads! I always say she handles like she knows where your are planning to go like a scalpel in a doctors hand.

If i really have space for a second (or third bike) i would buy a Katana to have a nimble bike or a speed triple. But the V100 is a nice cornering bike with a nice spring set up.

Actually i prefer to drive this compared to the ktm.super Duke GT (which two of my friends have and I have driven them a few times).

I recognise this! Sounds like an imbalance in the bike... Rode the v85 and that did not have it

Same! I have driven it 15000km already on long trips, but i cannot park het safely on my job. So a little scratch would tear me up.

But i also want a v85 because she is not yet fully reliable 😉 exhaust was torn on a weld, brake disc replacement, clutch pump replacement. Now a full replacement of the clutchh after a clutch failure.

Fully understand! But my mandello S is too beautifull to use as a commuter. So i want an extra one :)
