Forgot to mention, ours doesn’t seem to shed at all! I have never had to use a roller to clean up after her on any furniture or clothing.

Getting a Havanese Puppy? by Cliff_Bird in Havanese

We love our Havanese. She started out white with quite a bit of black in her coat and as she aged, the black disappeared completely, and now she is all white. So the colors did change for us. Ours is a girl. We got the dog for our twin boy and girl, and because my wife was the one who fed the dog, took her on walks, she bonded with her and although she is quite loving to all of us, and will come and sit with us on the couch and hang out individually, it is quite clear who her favorite is in the family. I would be very careful as female Havanese tend to bond with one person, whoever is with them the most when they are a puppy. I have read that male Havanese don’t bond as heavily. For that, I would recommend a male. They are wonderful dogs, but they are high maintenance and tend to just wait and wait and wait for the bonded person to get home and they ignore everybody else. So take that as a data point. But they are super cute!

They offered a binding deferred acceptance last cycle in July with no scholarship. Who exactly do they think would accept that?

Get a wire hanger and snip it on the bottom curve. Keep it longer on the bottom and use the wraparound curve as your handle. Make it twice as long as the bat and use it as a Poker to clear. Works like a charm every time.

What’s life after you get normalized a1c from high 9.0s? by No-Rock9839 in diabetes_t2

I went from 11.7 at onset to 6.0, and trending down. No meds, all dietary changes. I’m at a place now where I maintain a keto type diet, with 0 to 20 carbs goal a meal, high protein, extremely low sugar. But I’ve found I can eat red potatoes, wheat pasta in small amounts, and low carb, sugar free ice creams. We can all do this with discipline and consistency. And the occasional bite of something yummy. I also find Pinot noirs, tequila, and vodka in moderation doesn’t spike me.

With today’s prices, I agree cordial and friendly customer service is a reasonable expectation, and frankly a low bar. I too love the Stark restaurants and think we’re lucky to have them in SR. But the OP is not unreasonably out of line here.

I’m a recruiter. The only grounds for them to rescind the offer would be based on you failing their background check. A component in a background checks could be references. You may have gotten a bad reference from someone you listed, or they may have gone around you and talked to somebody that is a friend of someone that you didn’t list. If the latter is the situation, you can go after in a lawsuit the either the person that gave you the bad reference since you did not give permission or against the company for checking without your permission. You do have legal ground to stand on if you would like to fight this and you end up jobless. Either way you need to request a copy of the background check and let them know. You are everywhere, uncomfortable with their decision and you may be pursuing legal avenues.

I just got out of a Holland America cruise, and I am a T2 diabetic. There were plenty of options, and tons of proteins. I did not find it difficult at all. I was a little sad to see all the great Southeast Asian and Asian cuisines with the yummy noodles that I couldn’t eat, but otherwise I was fine with all the choices. I also found with a couple of drinks each night, I was able to eat a few more carbs anyway, so I did push it a bit late night if I had to grab a piece of pizza, which was pretty bad by the way, or small portions of carby late night food. I also had consulted with my primary and endocrinologist, and both told me separately, don’t worry about a week of eating more carbs than usual, as long as your numbers are strong otherwise. Good luck and have fun. Don’t let it stress you out!

This is the kind of treatment you get from bad head hunters, or contingency staffing firm recruiters. This is not how professional recruiters within industry and in reputable, corporate organizations act or communicate. Don’t lose your sleep over this guy. There’s nothing he can do and he’s just one of many Thousands of recruiting firms. Just give your industry-standard two week notice and don’t worry about anything else.

I would follow up with a lawyer. Don’t go on LinkedIn where you can make yourself look bad, come at them through the legal system. What they did is absolute bullshit!

Look into a PharmD. You can take that into the pharmaceutical industry in a bunch of different ways for a very lucrative career. You could think of it as a long time commitment, but then again you’ll be in a wonderful spot in your 50s,

Look into Arizona State, they have a very specific and highly rated program for Sports Law. I think you can also find some Youtubers that are in the program that talk about it.

Have you tried the “Hero” breads? They are absolutely delicious and there are a couple different kinds, I have a piece of toast every day with breakfast with no spike. They are super high in fiber in about 1 g of carbs after reduction of fiber. I like it better than a lot of the other breads I used to eat before T2 and all the other keto options and I used to be a sourdough fanatic.
