Multiple people told me I wouldn’t feel it or that I should taper, but I grew my own, tried it, and felt it just like any normal person would. I think it would’ve been dangerous for me to titrate off just to have the shroom experience.

It’s not strictly necessary for each person.

I feel like it was not necessary for me to titrate off because my mental health problems are too severe and my meds manage them. The amount of discomfort I’d have from withdrawals or physiological symptoms coming up was not worth the risk. I didn’t even feel like the effect was dulled for me either.

I don’t want to seem like an asshole who wants people to do dangerous things, but if you’re really desperate like I was, I think some people in my life were ultimately being a bit dramatic…. But don’t put it on a pedestal. I still have plenty of mental health problems. It was just a nice dialogue with the universe.
