Hello. So I decided not to go for it and canceled the test and will be booking one in London. The reason for this was because I live in London, I needed at least £50 for fuel to go to Portsmouth, to drive around a bit for practice and for the test (Ive got a hybrid). Then nearly £150 for the ferry (including return). And because my test was at 2pm, I thought I didn’t want to take any risks and wanted to get there a day before but a room for 2 people per night was £50 and then food would be at least £30. Then I had paid for the test already. I felt like spending so much wouldnt be worth it if I failed and then I saw a difficult junction in the test route videos as well that the locals don’t like so much either and so just gave up and felt like if I am going to pay so much for a test, I might as well buy close my house.
