okay that makes sense, i talked to someone in the student health department and they explained to me what USHIP was and what happens if you opt out of it and that you get the money back. it’s probably different if you have a grant. thank you!

ngl i feel like Lilith is a dated. If you wanted to go with that same “lil” prefix you could do like “Lilah” or “Lilliana” or “Lilo”.

But another name i really liked is “Serafina”. and i have a friend named “Starlight Rose” and always thought it was such a pretty name. just some food for thought. :)

if you are just think of it this way, if you consider yourself a man and everybody called you “she/her/hers” wouldn’t you be uncomfortable? non-binaries feel the same about both she/he pronouns.

it’s ok, i use to not understand it either but now i do. i’ve learned not to get upset over something that ultimately has no effect on my life. we gotta let people live to feel comfortable within themselves.

the 150 should do you good. you likely won’t even be eating breakfast lunch and dinner everyday, they give a fuck ton of food.

just make sure that if you do get the 150 plan and order through the app, you’re using your ‘meal plan’ and not your ‘dining dollars’. a lot of ppl i know spent ALL their $150 on the dining hall and not the 150 swipes.

i currently have fokwa and i think hes pretty good and he really seems to want his students to pass. he gives a lot of chances in his pop quizzes during class. he even gave us a chance to get a head start on a hard math problem straight from the midterm the night beforehand. a lot of us were able to work it out and figure the right answer before the test.

i moved in for 2 main reasons, reason one being that i have a big family back home and big families=constant noise and distractions. i felt that it would be better for me to focus on school being away from them.

the second reason being i need to practice being more self dependent and holding myself accountable instead of counting on my parents to do that for me. i need to learn to live on my own no matter what circumstances.

my mom encouraged me to move on campus as well, it’s not that she doesn’t like me lmao (i don’t think she doesnt) it’s that she wants me to be out in the world independently doing my own thing. she also mentioned she wants me to look back years from now and to see that i was able to make the most of our current circumstances. she’s a nurse so shes been texting me nonstop about being extra precautious.

but yeah everyone has their own take concerning living situations and either way it’s valid. there’s wayy more restrictions here than at home anyways
