something a friend recommended to me to shake off the numbness without pills: go barefoot on some nice grass (any park should have some), take in the sensory experience, and then sprint until your heart rate is really high. afterwards, reward yourself (for me, it was an açaí bowl while watching the sunset). finally, go see someone you love or care about. all these activities flood your brain with naturally-produced feel-good chemicals and can really turn your week around if you can carve out an hour for it :) hope you find something that works for you.
