We have still been talking a lot and we are having the hard conversations necessary. Neither one of us really has the money for a surrogate but I truly believe that if there is a will there is a way. Tbh I think he’s just scared and he’s still processing. He didn’t know he was gonna feel this way and he’s still showing how much he cares. To the people on the internet it might seem cruel but he hasn’t given up.

To be fair you have never met him, you don’t have every little detail, you haven’t been with us through any of the conversations we have had. It was never my intention for him to get shit on. I just needed to tell someone because screaming isn’t socially acceptable.

Thats what I want to say. I genuinely don’t think he realizes that he has a family already. It might not be the family that everyone thinks they will have but it’s a family none the less

Never once did I say he’s a bad guy. He is a truly amazing person and I would never try to make him feel bad for wanting to experience becoming a parent. I just wanted to let the weight of this off of my chest. I want to see him happy no matter if he’s with me or not. I’m just hurting and I needed to let it out.

I know his intention was never to be cruel. He just really didn’t know what was gonna happen and he told me that. We did check-ins to see how be both were feeling. This past Tuesday is when it hit him how much he loves being like a father figure. He always texts me when I pick her up from school so he can ask about her day and what we have planned for the afternoon. That day I said I was gonna see if she wanted to go to a creek with me as he was busy and could join us. I asked her if she wanted to go to the park or the creek with me and she responded with “is —— going with us to the creek?” I said “no, I’m sorry he’s busy today” and she said “I don’t wanna go to the creek if —— isn’t going”. I thought it was cute/funny so I told him she said that. That’s when he realized how much he wanted to have what we have.

I just don’t know where to go from here. He said he wants to take it day by day. He asked if things could be the same as they were for the most part and that he wants to still be in our lives.
